With the release of our third annual Various Artists Compilation, we’re celebrating three years of LAPS Recordings—and honestly, we can hardly believe it ourselves. What started as a small hobby project has grown into a solid underground label with a clear vision, a loyal community, and a catalogue were genuinely proud of. To mark this anniversary, VA003 brings together a diverse collection of tracks that reflect the full spectrum of our sound—from deep, hypnotic techno to high-energy peak-time bangers, groovy minimal cuts, and melodic journeys. It’s a snapshot of everything LAPS stands for: quality, diversity, and an uncompromising dedication to underground music. This year's edition features a blend of familiar faces and exciting newcomers. Some of the artists on this compilation have already become a part of the LAPS family through past releases, while others are making their debut—some of whom you'll definitely hear more from in the coming months. This VA acts as both a celebration and a preview of what’s to come. In a time when the techno scene is shifting rapidly—and not always to everyone’s liking—we want to take this moment to reaffirm who we are. We’re committed to pushing forward with an open mind, staying true to our roots, and supporting innovative, quality-driven electronic music in all its forms. Most importantly, we want to say thank you—to the artists who trust us with their music, to the dancers and DJs who keep the tracks alive on dancefloors, and to everyone who's been part of this journey so far. Time to enter more experimental territories: known LAPS-Members since day one, Kid Kun and Van Kost are back with two groovy breakbeat tunes! For the first single we welcome back IN-Sane from Italy and it’s a pleasure to welcome a new face to the family: hinueber from South Germany! He opens up the VA with a groovy, Minimal-influenced Melodic-Techno tune named "Moti". With the release of our third annual Various Artists Compilation, we’re celebrating three years of LAPS Recordings! For the sixth single we welcome Kolibrix, a new face on the label coming from Southern Germany. His track "I Dont Understand You" delivers relentless Hard Techno pressure with a unique twist: two contrasting basslines—one deep and rumbling, the other fast and Psy-influenced—create a distinctive, high-intensity dynamic. Welcome aboard, Kolibrix!

Lee Ann Roberts' record label, NowNow presents the second instalment of its new FLUX compilation series, which includes explosive hard techno tracks by Reyno, GODEN, CHRS, Nineted, MXGN, Cyberpunkers, The Devil Dwarf, Stëh, V-tec, Stoltenhoff

The release features artists from around the world, including established names like Cyberpunkers and Stoltenhoff, alongside new talents such as Reyno. Each track was handpicked by Lee Ann Roberts after being tested in her DJ sets.

It’s a brutal release that strikes the balance between trance infused euphoria and the darkness of gritty drums and industrial textures. Some of the artists on this release such as NineTed and Stoltenhoff have featured on previous NowNow releases, but others are joining the imprint after featuring on the likes of Gomboc Records, HEKATE Records, TFT Records, ARTCORE RECORDS, Filth On Acid, and Exhale.

This release is packed with tracks that are designed to detonate with maximum dancefloor impact, and each is a weapon that’s essential for a hard techno arsenal.

Techno is colourful.

We are LAPS Recordings, a young, growing Techno Label from Germany! The name "LAPS" is an acronym containing the initials of our 4 founding members. At the same time it highlights the concept of time, which is a topic all our productions will revolve around! 

Coming from very different musical backgrounds, the core substance of our label sound revolves around dark, energetic and emotional melodies, forceful kickdrums and driving basslines. Those main topics reappear in all of our productions, but so do the individual tastes of all founding members.
