Ekko is back with this massive two-tracker. His third solo release on Laps Recordings is Ekko at his best. Satellite is an arp driven cool dancefloor tool. As known , with Ekko comes acid, also in this track. The second track Mayhem is simply epic and more focused on the complex wonderful melody. But after the break he serves a nice candy flip out of DnB influenced bass fills and oldschool rave stabs. Dope!

The two have been a part of Hannovers club scene for several years are famous for their closing-sets at the legendary Klub PAN. For their first release they team up with Anija, delivering a powerful 2-tracker. "One Eyed Steve" is an Acid infused Hardtechno-banger. "Mounted Reaper" is more rooted in Industrial-Techno but delivers the same frantic and chaotic energy. Kyle Ramsay joins the party with a more groovy and melodic remix of "Mounted Reaper"!

Techno is colourful.

We are LAPS Recordings, a young, growing Techno Label from Germany! The name "LAPS" is an acronym containing the initials of our 4 founding members. At the same time it highlights the concept of time, which is a topic all our productions will revolve around! 

Coming from very different musical backgrounds, the core substance of our label sound revolves around dark, energetic and emotional melodies, forceful kickdrums and driving basslines. Those main topics reappear in all of our productions, but so do the individual tastes of all founding members.

I was born in Brantford Ontario Canada July 11th 1963,
I'm a retired City Worker from The Brantford Ontario Works Dept of 34 years of service,
I was 9 years old when I started taking drum lessons with the Ontario Conservatory Of Music,
I taught drum lessons and played in a band that played blues, country, 50's, blue grass,
I started making playlists at the age of 12 years old (1975) Pioneer Turntable, Cassette Deck, Receiver & two 50 watt Speakers.

I enjoy working with DJs, Composers, Beat Makers Song Writers Hip Hop Artists from all over the world 🌍
