Il Neige Sur Assise.        Texte :Sanzen

Boule de neige au salon, mon enfance sur un vieux guéridon
Sous la cloche en trois dimensions , Assise , mes émotions
Solitaire sans raison , encombré de ce corps bien trop grand
j’envahis tout l’espace restant  qui est fait d’un seul et même plan.

Et pendant ce temps tu défies placide la  gravitation .  
ce n’est pas toujours la fête , tu traverses tel un géant  les saisons
grâce à ton  humour ,à ton amour, ta superbe autodérision
et si ça se trouve  ,  quelques flocons dans ton salon.   

je me construis un univers fait  d’huiles et de pastels dorés
ma toile est comme la vie trop souvent déséquilibrée  
je me sers un peu moins de ma tête que de mon coeur , de mes grands pieds.
peindre c’est pas toujours la fête , le gout une valeur trop partagée .
 
Et pendant ce temps tu défies placide la gravitation .  
ce n’est pas toujours la fête , tu traverses tel un géant les saisons 
grâce à ton  humour ,à ton amour, ta superbe autodérision
et si ça se trouve  quelques flocons dans ton salon. 

 
Unijambiste dans….ma tête ,je suis en lévitation 
je mets du rouge dans  mon salon, sous cloche mon horizon
du doré sur ma toile une  vie captive sous les flocons...
quelques facéties  , mon enfance sur le vieux guéridon

I wrote this song many moons ago with a mixture of my late brother Russell and my lyrics....the melody and chords followed easily and all I had was a very sparse demo until Kirk kindly came on board and added that additional backing track and fab keys.

I've been "away" for a while musically, because I was busy with setting up a new PC as "music machine", but yesterday and today I've created a new track from scratch, started with programming percussion, beats, brass and stuff, the jungle vibe ambience included (with Palindrome); so all is vst and no audio loops used. My brother Gary and I were at our Nan's bedside at the hospice when the medication kicked in and there was no more communication . I had never faced death before - it was my worst moment. This song is about that moment. When I first played it to my elder brother Brian he said it was the best song he had ever heard. That was good enough for me.
We lost Brian in 2012 at the young age of 63 and his family asked permission to play it at his funeral which, of course, was my privilege. I wish there could have been many more unguarded moments with my Bri.  (Terry Reeves)

Lara Meltemi is a singer, songwriter, composer, musician, performer and actress.  
Since mid of 90th she writes songs in Russian and Ukrainian languages and sing songs additionaly in German, Polish and English.
Lara Meltemi is a songwriter and as an artist she performs her own and other songs. She started singing being 5 years old and continued during the school days. After study she became a cellist by profession.
In 2000 she started as a singer in a TV-show in Berlin, followed by many performances and concerts in Germany, Ukraine and Sweden. She sings with great success on many open air music festivals and in the largestand famous entertainment halls in Kiev ("Ukraine Palace", "Zhovtnevy Palace" and others).
Everywhere she performed her songs she earned great enthusiasm and applause based on her lovely songs and her strength of personality. Lyrics of her songs are very pretentious and full of original genuine metaphors up to own neologisms.
Her audience loves especially her beautiful velvety voice and the lyrical melodies as well as powerful ballads. She receives a lot of letters from over the world even from people who don't understand the lyrics.
