Lara Hyams (Lara H) has been a formidable force in the Australian dance scene since the age of sixteen when she first picked up a pen and began to write.
With an interest in music, her talents were recognized by an established editor of a music magazine in Perth, Western Australia, who invited her to become one of his primary feature writers.
From interviewing international stars to big-time promoters, Lara was able to experience firsthand how the music industry could unify the masses.
From 2001, Lara began purchasing vinyl and working her way up to the DJ ranks and onto the festival circuit.
She has played at numerous Australian music festivals including Summadayze, Future Music Festival and the now defunct Two Tribes events.
She’s held residencies at Geisha Bar and Connections nightclub and has played in capital cities across Australia. After relocating to Sydney, she held residences for nights at Oxford's street Chingalings Bar. 
Her house-styles are layered with disco flavours, 80s synths and bootleg sounds reflect her varied tastes and a musical diversity that spans from earlier decades to the burgeoning sounds of tomorrow.

She has supported international acts: 
Miguel Migs, Inland Knights, DJ Heather, DJ Colette, Derrick Carter, Chuck Love, Ricardo Rae, DJ Mes, to name a few.
