I was up late in the studio as I have been while writing and putting together my first complete project. Rehearsing a few songs, I let go and what was on my mind surfaced and turned into this little fun song. I think as we get older we slowly to start to see the errors of our ways. Artistically this is what was born, my stream of consciousness love child. Tomorrow I perform for the first time in Nashville and I can't wait. More to come soon as an awesome project is developing. I've been writing music for the past 30 years, starting piano at 9 years old. I've been through a lot in my life and am working on connecting what Ive experienced through music. I've had my heart broken, been in quite a few wrecks, and music has always been an outlet for me. As a songwriter, I aspire to connect with people who will appreciate my truth as an artist and who I can continue to share my stories with. I have performed in Dallas for years and am fairly new to Nashville. I got back into songwriting recently and more songs will be available soon. I am also a professional visual artist and have worked as a teacher with troubled teens, helping them to utilize art and music as healing and coping tools. I Have exhibited at Art Basel and have been represented by a gallery in Galveston, TX for the past 4 years. I am a free spirit and to share my art and music with others is my passion.

 
I am a writer, singer, songwriter, and painter.I've been playing piano since I was eight and performing since then. My first band formed when I was 16 in high school. I changed schools and became more shy about performing, so I began songwriting for myself, using music as a therapeutic outlet, and it has been one for me and my saving grace throughout my life. I have tracks that I've recorded in the studio, which was where I began to doubt myself as an artist because of the process. I enjoy playing live and haven't done so since 2009. I love music more than anything, and now I am sharing it with you. New material will be out eventually. I am a harsh critic on myself. I have a track here and a track there. One day it might be available and then I'll change my mind and take it down, but now that I am saying it out loud to whoever is listening to my work, I hope you can appreciate what I hold close to my heart.

I have been playing the piano since I was about 9 years old. I went through a lot of piano teachers as I got older because I began playing songs the way I heard them, improvising and making them my own. I started writing my own music and performed in a band in high school and pursued and performed music throughout college and played in venues in Santa Fe and Dallas and Denton, TX. 

Music has always provided me with an outlet to heal and express myself, as has painting. I've been working as a visual artist for the past 6 years and have art in homes all over the country.  Music and art have been constant forces in my life. 

There are a few raw recordings of covers and then I produced new originals with more to come. 

It's been a thrill to have this recording gear to be able to do vocal harmonies and have the songs sound the way I hear them in my head.

Tied up on a Railroad was written when I was going through my separation and divorce. It’s one of my favorite songs that I really want to get more musicians on and amp it up a bit and rock it out. I wrote it two days after he moved out and it sums up everything I felt in that moment. 
I’ve grown so much since.
