After taking a week off to announce our glorious return to dance floors(ticket link in Bio) we are back to present the 84th edition of the HER Transmission Mix series, with this incredible offering from Julia Govor.

Julia Govor is a Russian-born Techno producer who is currently based in New York. With life in music starting out as a singer in a USSR military band, Julia since ended up in New York and is now well known for her unique and innovative sound, which translates across into her DJ sets that are extremely dense, vivid, and unpredictable. 

Julia is also the founder and curator of music label JUJUKA, co-founder of event series Radial, an event series operating to explore the intersection between live sonic art and electronic experimentation, and also a resident at The Lot Radio.

Today we're excited to introduce a mix from KAOSMOS (@uzaycekirdegi), a solo ambient, drone and experimental project hailing from Istanbul. Her creations are a fusion of mysterious atmospheric themes and humming layers of frigid synthesizers, bringing KAOSMOS to life and emancipating listeners from the mundane reality of day to day life. Static caresses as drums boom from the far off abyss, dense synths swell as the textures crumble, and voices punctuate the noise. Close your eyes and sink into the world of KAOSMOS.

Huma is the aka of Andrés Satué. Born in Galicia but based in Barcelona, is a sound engineer with an extensive career in musical experimentation, from his first math-kraut-rock and prog bands, to experimental electronics with his previous project Esquelas and now with Huma. He has released several albums under labels including Bestiarie, ENSMBLE, Matapadre, and now Opal Tapes. He participated in the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp in Madrid, played at some of the most relevant Spanish experimental electronics festivals and is co-founder of Hedonic Reversal label where he released most of Huma albums and Bicefal Festival. He also runs a monthly radio show with his label partner Miguel Sueiro at Dublab Barcelona.
