A collection of music that I have recorded over my years at school and at university studying at undergraduate and Post Graduate Level.

I'm Jon Mapp - I'm a bassist of both kinds, composer and educator based in London. I am currently touring with soul-maestro Myles Sanko, which takes me to far flung places, but also do the odd gig around London and the UK.

On here is some music I've done, and I'll add anything new I'm doing or involved with as I go along.

In the past I've made an eerie and dark solo album, 'The World Will End With a Bang', that used looping to create big epic expansive soundscapes with loads of improvisation in them. I've done the odd gig with it, and might bring back doing solo stuff in the future, but for now, I'm enjoying playing with other people way too much.
