My House Is... est un fanzine dédié à la danse. Il est né d'une fascination pour la scène house, et d'un émerveillement sans cesse renouvelé pour les danses issues des cultures hip-hop et funk, des clubs ou de la Ballroom.

My House Is... est distribué à prix libre, lors d’événements de danse. Dans nos pages, on retrouve des archives, du mouvement et du son. Des playlists accompagnent certains articles.

The enigmatic Myles Sergé is a low-flying techno producer, hard-working label head, and uncompromising DJ — though he prefers the term “reclusive perfectionist.”

His sound strips techno down to its rawest form. Bypassing the melodic classicism of Detroit, Sergé pushes toward a stark, European-leaning minimalism, all while channeling a machine-funk energy that defines both his DJ sets and productions.

A regular guest at Berlin’s Tresor, Sergé has also performed at Berghain, Griessmuehle, and ://about blank, alongside his residency at Steevio’s Freerotation Festival in Wales. His transatlantic presence bridges the US underground with Europe’s most revered techno institutions.

Through his own labels — (MS) and Calder City Development Corp (CCDC) — Sergé has built a platform for uncompromising techno. His productions have also appeared on respected imprints including Ilian Tape, Thema Recordings, and Dan Curtin’s Metamorphic.

Beyond the club, Sergé co-hosts (MS) LIVE with D-KNOX on YouTube, alongside long-time collaborator and Sonic-Mind Records frontman Donnell Knox, where the two explore the deeper layers of techno culture.

Always in the shadows but never far from the forefront, Myles Sergé remains a rare figure in modern techno: elusive, relentless, and fiercely dedicated to the craft.

A Life dedicated to music. Beautifully talented Melchior Sultana, Born in Malta, Is a composer and multi instrumentalist. Growing up in an atmosphere of rich traditions, culture and arts in the middle of the Mediterranean can deeply sculpt a spirit. Melchior Sultana represents music as an art with no boundaries.

Everything started by understanding the various forms of sound. This interest in "sounds" gradually led to experience, study, knowledge and to an ongoing evolution of an artist. His experiences and knowledge through out his musical career led to the believe that music is a form of art that needs to remain pure. this means that music and art in general should reflect one's true inner voice and artistic execution and not be infected by non-artistic entities. This philosophy was carried out and is being practiced through out his music.

As a multi instrumentalist playing Guitar, Piano and Bass, Melchior Sultana is involved in various projects from classical to contemporary to Live band and electronic music productions. Melchior Sultana performed live at some of the most prestigious places from Cafe Del Mar in Malta to Panorama Bar, Berghain, IPSE in Berlin, Tresor and Rex Club Paris. Previous works show the wide musical vocabulary of this artist and his open mentality approach to music.

Théo alias Rafiki (membre fondateur de Beat X Changers, Communauté Online" de passionnés de musique, et label depuis peu) commence à nouer avec le rythme par la danse, il débute le Hip-hop en 1997 et la house en 2005. Sorties, clubbing, battles, compétitions, ... ces deux formes de musiques et d'expression libre lui inspirent à passer lui-même aux commandes. En 2006, il prend les platiens et, influencé grandement par ses "grands freres Français" (Motor Bass, Deep, St Germain ...), Rafiki peut aussi aller chercher des ambiances synthétiques dans la techno de Détroit ou la profondeur des beats Berlinois; il aime aussi au passage prendre des détours "soulfull" New Yorkais. Ses résidences à l'étrangers (Montréal, Berlin, New York, Detroit) ont grandement façonné son identité musicale.

Theo aka Rafiki (founder of Beat X Changers, an "online community" of music heads and label recently ) discover the rhythm trhu dance, he started hip-hop in 1997 and house in 2005. Clubbing, battles, competitions, ... these two forms of music and self-expression inspired him to get himself behing the turntables. Starting spinning in 2006, and greatly influenced by his "French brothers" (Motor Bass, Deep, St Germain ...), Rafiki can also get synthetic environments in Detroit techno beats or in the depth of Berlin techno, he also likes to take a roundabout way to New York "soulful" vibe. His trips abroad, Montreal, Berlin, New York, Detroit, have greatly shaped his musical identity.

Dr. Micah Salkind is the Director of Civic and Cultural Life at the Rhode Island Foundation. Prior, in his roles as Deputy Director and Special Projects Manager at the City of Providence Department of Art, Culture and Tourism he managed large grants and strategic artist initiatives for the City, collaborating with the Creative Capital’s largest non-profit cultural institutions as well as its emerging artists, designers, and creative entrepreneurs. He also sings with Collegium Ancora, throws quarterly Dollar Disco parties as one half of Micah Jackson, and is an ongoing collaborator with dancers and scholars in Chicago’s Honey Pot Performance collective. A DJ, sound designer, and curator, Salkind is the author of Do You Remember House? Chicago’s Queer of Color Undergrounds (Oxford University Press).
