In 2021 we will present the series »Unpublished Reports from Level 23«, which is based on the 2020 series »The Untold Stories of the Sinking Sea!«. The prelude, the number 2 this year and number 132 since the beginning in 2011, is a surfer dude from Karlsruhe, an talented musician who is on the road, the creator of the fabulous Camper Tapes and a very good friend of our captain: it's https://soundcloud.com/severin-onderka .

We have known each other for a number of years and together we heated up some clubs and dragged out some open air celebrations. From the beginning he has always done his thing - during his gigs he uses his own samples as well as samples from well-known songs and then mixes them live into his sets - in that way he changes the tracks during his set and improvises a lot. It's fun to watch him and dance to it. Currently he is on the road with his van and surfs the waves of the world .. I'm all the more pleased that he found the time to come up with a special mix. Severin: "Along the endless roads of the coast line you meet a lot of people. All of them are different and so is their taste of music. And when we sit together in the evening to enjoy some beers together, theres always new tunes and artists to discover.Thats why this episode of the seaside trip brings together some of those Road Trip Tunes - but I let out the Punk section, although we were listening to a lot of punk music, especially when we had to solve some mechanic problems on our Van.

Living in the nature, close to the sea offers diversified days - none the less we love to have some routines, such as the morning coffee, daily surf, healthy cooking, some spliffs and having a good time with the people and dogs around."

"Hard to find the right words to describe the feeling I had when playing my set at the Mayan Warrior at this years Burning Man.

In the middle of a whiteout, fourth day of the festival, second time on the Mayan, first time solo on this amazing art car I played track after track without preparation as most of the artists probably do when playing such a major show.

I always want to play in the moment. To be with you guys. To feel your vibes - exactly to the way that it fits to the moment.

Having the car packed with people in the beginning, then emptied of them while driving to its designated spot on the playa and then packed again after stopping didn’t exactly make things easy for me. In spite of that the intensity of this wonderful night was so unexpected and greatly appreciated.

Out comes one of my hardest sets I’ve uploaded in a long time:)

I hope you guys enjoy (ed) it as much as I do.
