Growing up in Michigan, I was never fitting in. People called me all kinds of things. Some friendly and some not so much. Often I would ignore people who were confused by my image. They called me "that rappin Kid" and "the kid who raps." Regardless, I always knew I was one of a kind.

Coming up in hip-hop is not easy. It is not promised. 
And the road to success is long, grueling and often lonely.
I remember backpacking my 1st album across san jose like it was yesterday. 2 weeks later I did my first show with Mac Mall in Oakland, Ca. I never took that month for granted. And am soooo glad I didn't.

When it was time to write this anthem I called the most relentless artists I know. San Jose's Kung Fu Vampire and Bay Area legend Roblo: Who like myself, built they own fan bases. And did it by being talented and genuine. 

On My Own is a dark styled independent anthem that features South Bay California giants Kung Fu Vampire and Larry Coleman 2020 and is produced by the great Roblo of Mobfigaz.
