A new kid on the block of the underground house scene, he has already begun to craft a unique sound, drawing influence from 90s Acid & Deep House to create his own style. With inspiration from artists such as Four Tet, DJ Steaw & Gene on Earth, Covalent strives to include sounds from a multitude of genres in both his production & DJ sets.

As the co-founder & owner of Friktion, Alex has supported artists such as Josh Baker & Yogi P, while working closely with the likes of Mihai Popoviciu, Cosenza & Juliche Hernandez on his record label.
