Colors and Shapes was supposed to be on Balloonerism and there was a version which excluded the samples that were later put in for the finished version which was included on Faces. A similar situation occurred with the track Smile which was included on Run-On Sentences Vol. 2 in finished form but is included here in a demo version. Pure is unfortunately not from any album and wasn’t included on Balloonerism, however I have added it because it is my favourite unreleased Mac track & one of my alltime favourite songs. 

I want to thank all of you who got this playlist to surpass 10K❤️. I could never have imagined so many of you would show your love for Mac here on a playlist I put together, but it doesn’t surprise me all that much because Mac was so special. Seeing this many hearts pop up on my SoundCloud over these years that I’ve curated this playlist has been purely magical. Only Mac Miller the Incredible, Unforgettable, Magnetic, Prophetic Angel could bring this many people together. After January 17th, 2025 Mac’s official SoundCloud should have the full album posted & then I will make sure to post his official tracks here on this playlist as well. This is an unfinished & unrefined album that Mac was working on between MACADELIC & Faces. Mac made so much music he often threw away gems. There are tons of unreleased bangers in his repertoire that put other artists’ studio singles to shame. He did have intentions to complete this album, however, the project was put on the shelf as Faces became his focus. There was no official track list despite what people had claimed. At one point, a limited number of vinyl’s circulated with the track list that people closest to Mac felt he was going for & that was all we had for years. In 2023 there was a limited edition cassette release from Warner/Remember with the traditional, rumored track list. Flash Forward to 2025 & Mac’s estate, run by his mom & big brother, have released an official copy of this enigmatic, majestic album. Enjoy this lost project from the man, the myth, the legend Mac Miller. Here for you all, presented by Remember Music, & Warner Music, this is Mac Miller’s Balloonerism.🎈
