Subb-an continues to develop his One Records platform, adapting and moulding alongside stylistic shifts in modern minimal whilst also maintaining a high degree of quality control. Central to this successful adaptation has been the carefully selected roster of artists he works with; some old friends, some new - but always artists whose work reflect the contents of his own record bag: neatly reduced tunes aimed squarely at the dance floor.

ONE049 is another in a series of VA releases on the label featuring Yamen & Eda, Leeds based Mariiin, Ciel, NorthSouth owner Sam Bangura, Duowe & Picasso, and Subb-an himself. Mariiin contribution is  a kinetic tool evincing her skills as a seasoned and well respected DJ. Tumbling breaks are pinned by a 4/4 kick while interweaving sweeps and filters recall the atmosphere of some of the Swag classics.

FuFu Records is thrilled to announce the release of a new EP on December 8th 2022.
For this special occasion, we worked with the talented and prolific producer Saint Guel from Philippines.
Miguel Santiago aka Saint Guel basks in dance music — his being distinctly warm and clean- cut. The Filipino DJ/producer started behind the decks at 15 and tinkered with personal production 2 years after. Since then, he’s carefully carving his corner: an altogether irresistibly groovy one. Perhaps it’s him soaking up the Manila nightlife, his frequent pilgrimage across international festivals or his inherent taste and thirst for warbling world.
Whatever it is, it’s looking like everyone is here for it.
He was part of the FuFu Records Compilation: 88 – Double Happiness Vol.2 and Vol.7 released in October 2022 with a special teaser track: Going On which will be got new versions in the coming EP. With a big excitement after our 2 collaborations, we have been discussing deeply about the release of an EP full of different energies from his trip in Europe and particularly in Berlin.
You can expect a journey from Vocal Deep House/trippy-dubby version of his original tracks.

Having surfaced from a 20- year hiatus this year with two new albums, Anoesis continues his restored run of form letting loose a five-track masterclass in IDM, electronica, house and electro on Cyphon Recordings. Showcasing a signature touch crafted across the ‘90s, the ‘Stasislogue EP’ flies the flag for the fact that Howard Dodd has by no means lost the ability to make a dancefloor move. Operating in a far-flung corner of the cosmos, Anoesis was responsible for some truly mind-warping breakbeat and IDM across the ‘90s on labels such as D*Fusion Records and Octopus - releasing tracks that always felt like they were made in another dimension.
 
Continuing where he left off, the EP opens with ‘Track Thirty 7’, a production that could just as easily have come from Mars, as it could Detroit. Glitched out yet driving, conceptual yet considered, it’s got an ethereal urgency that moves limbs with purpose.  ‘Callisto’ follows, part UR, part dream house  - an emotive, eyes closed journey with soaring pads and glistening synths laid over a bubbling beat. ‘May Eleventh’ rounds off the A side and gives a real insight into the modulated mind of Anoesis, a hardware-heavy, underwater electro trip that nods to the deep-sea dwellers, Drexciya. Flip it over to find ‘Space Watch’, a skippy house bumper with a grooving low-end and lunar transmissions hypnotising from the off, before a peak-time, dancefloor-focussed slice of mind-expanding electronica, ‘Places For People’, rounds off the package. Honed in the ‘90s, yet firmly rooted in the present, it’s clear to see that Dodd’s ability to write absorbing, interplanetary machine music with a human heart at its core is as strong as it’s ever been.
