The last 30 years, A Guy Called Amir has been intertwined in the dance music scene from Detroit to Ibiza. This Detroit native is now taking it one step further by reinventing his artist career with a Nu-Disco sound, mixing disco with the evolution of deep house and techno.
After 25 years without DJing, A Guy Called Amir is back at it and stronger than ever. 2014 has kick started an underground buzz about this Nu-Disco Obsession. With unannounced appearances and events, the market is ready to bring back A Guy Called Amir’s evolution of the dance floor.
A Guy Called Amir has been in the dance music industry since day one.  He has been brining in the newest music of every decade to motivate people to get on the dancefloor, but his biggest passion was the genre that started in Detroit: Techno. A Guy Called Amir has shared his dedication by having a hand in developing the first Detroit Electronic Music Festival (D.E.M.F.) and a professional consultant on launching the first Movement Festival in 2006. A Guy Called Amir has also musically worked along side the original dance music legends such as Derrick May, Richie Hawtin, Kevin Saunderson, and Juan Atkins just to name a few. Today he is modeling his DJ career just as he has over the last 30 years in the music industry now focusing on the DJ world to bring the newest music to the fans.
A Guy Called Amir is now working on creating the hottest sets for his upcoming events. Soon he will be going into the studio to produce and master his own original tracks. He will also be working on some collaboration, partnerships, and relationships that have been key in his past and will help evolve the Nu-Disco era in the present and future with some legends of dance music. 
At time of announcement, we were unable to confirm the charity that will be associated with A Guy Called Amir. All proceeds from A Guy Called Amir merchandise will be donated to a non-profit charity that will be named within 30-45 days. This non-profit will enhance opportunities to earn a better life through music and inspire younger generations through music.
