Based in Hamburg, Doctor Dru hits up a remix of Sailor & I x Eekkoo, receiving strong support from Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Adriatique, Solomun, Jon Monkmon, Nick Warren, and many more.

Alongside his multi-layered history DJing, Doctor Dru works as a drummer, runs his own label, collaborates with other acts such as Adana Twins, and of course, produces his own emotive, wistful signature tracks – such as his release off Exploited’s ‘Black Jukebox 03’ compilation. He’s hit up other remixes on OFF, JEUDI Records and Stil vor Talent, and followed those up with his “Proper Lane” EP and a timeless remix of Claptone’s huge hit “No Eyes”.

In terms of performances, he has appeared at Brazil’s Warung, Destino and Ushuaia (Ibiza), Watergate (Berlin), Revolver Club (Melbourne), Loveland Festival (Amsterdam) and a many more. While being busy with touring and tune tinkering, Dru also cultivated his own label JEUDI Records, which was founded with his mates Davidé and Takeiteasy. Based on a tightly-knit family ethos Jeudi Records gives Doctor Dru a platform where he is able to truly express his love of music and to A&R new talent from around the globe.

The 'Letters' remix package drops on Big Beat August 5th and will also tap Kidnap Kid, NTFO and Jeremy Olander for additional remixes.

Bereits vier Jahre ist es her, dass Jeden Tag ein Set an den Start gegangen ist. Seitdem präsentieren wir täglich ein Set, das uns persönlich besonders gut gefällt. Genau so ist das auch bei der Auswahl der Künstler für unsere Partys und Podcastreihen.
 Zu unserem Jubiläum gibt es ein Geburtstagsständchen von Hanne & Lore. Das Duo aus Herford begleitet uns inzwischen seit Jahren und ist eine feste Institution in der elektronischen Musiklandschaft. Mit ihrem Label „Heulsuse“ setzten sie ebenfalls mit jeder EP neue Maßstäbe.

Aus diesem Grund kommt der Podcast zum vierjährigen Jubiläum, der auch gleichzeitig einen Vorgeschmack auf unsere Geburtstagsfeier am 30.09. in Nürnberg bietet, von Hanne & Lore. Viel Spaß!

As we get closer to our sister label PUZL Records 1 Year Anniversary celebration we couldn’t resist tapping one of their esteemed guests, Daniel Steinberg, to be apart of our mix series this week. A few years back our own MR PUZL came across the Steinberg’s Arms & Legs outfit and since then has championed their sound in his mixes, reviews and sets. Their unique blend of funk, jazz, hip-hop, soul and house coupled with their passion and longstanding presence in the scene has made them staple in DJ sets and radio shows worldwide. Steinberg’s recent collaboration with Oliver Dollar is yet another reflection of the producer’s esteemed career and ability to stay in sync with the constantly evolving landscape of our industry. 

While Daniel Steinberg may not be a household name here in the states (and in the deeply saturated market of Los Angeles even the world’s best and brightest can seemingly go unnoticed) he is certainly an artist we recommend you become familiar with. As always, we at LAMP stay firm to our commitment to not only shine light on local talent but those from cities and countries far and wide that inspire and influence our musical tastes. British-German DJ and producer Lars Moston from Berlin runs Outergalactic Music and also releases on some of the world's most influential House Music labels such as Katermukke, Kittball and Nervous Records. He has collaborated with Boris Dlugosch, Teenage Mutants, Juliet Sikora, and Dirty Doering among others and remixed the likes of grammy winner Purple Disco Machine, Claptone, Mike Mago, Si Begg and Moonbootica to name just a few. 
As a DJ Lars has raised roofs at world famous venues such as Watergate Berllin, Pacha Ibiza, Printworks London and festivals like Fusion and Tomorrowland with his trademark positive sound. Crafting a highly energetic mix full of little suprises and nods to his personal musical history, taking crowds on a journey full of twists and turns that he himself discovers in the moment, these are sources of tangible enjoyment for him. And it shows.
