🗯🗯 Wie bist du zur Musik / zum auflegen gekommen? 🗯🗯

Ich wurde auf meiner Asienreise im Jahr 2019 zum Auflegen inspiriert. Damals hatte ein bekannter Berliner DJ in einem Club auf Bali gespielt, mit dem ich mich über seinen Job unterhalten habe. Diese Zeit war für mich eine Zeit des beruflichen Umbruchs, also fing ich an, mir das Auflegen und Produzieren beizubringen. Als ich nach ein paar Wochen von einem Veranstalter gefragt wurde, ob ich in seinem Club das Opening spielen möchte und mir das unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht hat, war für mich klar, dass ich meine Berufung gefunden habe:-).

🗯🗯 Wie würdest du deinen Stil selbst beschreiben? 🗯🗯

Ich mag es, mich verschiedenen Genres zu bedienen. Von Indie Dance, Dark Disco bis hin zu Progressive/Melodic House & Techno. Am meisten Freude bereitet mir das Spiel aus wummernden Bässen und schönen, harmonischen Melodien. Wenn ich zuschauen kann, wie das Publikum in der Musik versinkt, habe ich mein Ziel erreicht!

About him...

As a boy of seven years it was the wooden flute which fascinated him.
As a boy of nine it was the violin which caught his attention. 
For about two years now he has discovered DJing for himself and since then he has been intensively working at the player and mixer.
As the saying says, "what takes a long time, finally becomes good".
One I can tell you, he is far from being at the end! 😉 
The influence of the instruments can be heard and felt in his sets,
because as versatile as the selection of those in past times was,
so versatile and multi-layered are also his sets. From deep house, tech house to melodic house with small outbreaks in the direction of techno, you can find everything in his sets.
The tracks sometimes stormy, sometimes soft, sometimes rough, sometimes soft.
One can be curious where the journey through this fairway still goes, because since recently he is addicted to the black gold we know and love so much, the vinyl and his players must now share the space and attention with the turntables.

British-German DJ and producer Lars Moston from Berlin runs Outergalactic Music and also releases on some of the world's most influential House Music labels such as Katermukke, Kittball and Nervous Records. He has collaborated with Boris Dlugosch, Teenage Mutants, Juliet Sikora, and Dirty Doering among others and remixed the likes of grammy winner Purple Disco Machine, Claptone, Mike Mago, Si Begg and Moonbootica to name just a few. 
As a DJ Lars has raised roofs at world famous venues such as Watergate Berllin, Pacha Ibiza, Printworks London and festivals like Fusion and Tomorrowland with his trademark positive sound. Crafting a highly energetic mix full of little suprises and nods to his personal musical history, taking crowds on a journey full of twists and turns that he himself discovers in the moment, these are sources of tangible enjoyment for him. And it shows.
