The „Central-HiFi Sound System“ was founded in 2004 by Manuel TheTuffest and Lars Tuffest in Freiberg/Saxony. Thereby important models are Jamaican sound systems, such as Sir Coxsone Dodd, Duke Reid or Prince Buster. The music selection ranges from the 50ies up to brand-new Reggae and Dancehall tunes even to Tropical Bass.

Since 2008 Central-HiFi hasn´t only been invited to parties but also organized events itself. In doing so, the focus especially is on the wide variety of the music, whereby the band and the sound system form a perfect combination. Central-HiFi has been cooperating with following artists, among others:
