"Playing the Sunday morning closing set at Robot Heart at my first Burning Man was one of the most touching and rewarding moments of my musical adventure so far. I have always made music with the desert in mind, and this felt somehow like coming home, sharing it in the perfect environment. 

The manifestation of an intention - a full circle. 

Thanks to everybody who believes in my work and has helped me get this far on my journey, and to all the beautiful souls and amazing creatures who shared this moment and made it a special morning.

As a resident DJ and the Head of Production for the ZERO events, Daniel has been an integral part of the renaissance of New York’s underground music scene since moving to the city in 2011.

Focusing on the deeper sides of house and techno, Daniel’s sound is influenced by the cities he has called home: Chicago, Barcelona, Buenos Aires and New York City. "KaterHolzig, Sisyphos, Chalet, Tresor, Rummels Bucht - allein die Liste der Berliner Clubs in denen Andreas Rauscher stets die Menge bewegen und überzeugen kann, liest sich wie ein Who is who auf dem nationalen Parkett. Mittlerweile ist der deep/Tech Spezialist, mit seinen druckvollen Sets, Tracks die noch niemand vorher hörte und einer lässigen Entspanntheit hinter den Decks, bei soviel Erfolg in hauptstädtischen Gefilden, Wahl-Berliner.

Eingebettet zwischen dunklen, melancholischen Bässen bleibt sein Sound tanzbar, fühlbar ist die kompromisslose Qualität nach der Andreas Rauscher immer greift. An den Decks und in der Ernsthaftigkeit des Business lässt er keinen Zweifel, wenn sein Sound unüberhörbar durch die heiligen Hallen wummst. Jeden Tag bis in die Nacht an diesem zu arbeiten, gehört für ihn selbstverständlich dazu. Und genau so überzeugte er in wenigen Sommermonaten ein verwöhntes Publikum und wurde nur in kurzer Zeit ein stadtbekanntes Gesicht unter Berliner Kollegen und Kolleginnen. 

Geboren in den wilden 70ern, früh begeistert von Depeche Mode und Kraftwerk, entdeckt er dann in einer Nacht vor knapp 20 Jahren Techno für sich, bleibt an den vibes der Szene kleben und entdeckt ziemlich schnell den Wunsch selbst mitzugestalten. Und heute? In München, Augsburg, Frankfurt aM spielend locker unterwegs, als ehemaliger Club-Besitzer sowieso, überzeugt Andreas Rauscher längst international; sei es London, Griechenland, Thailand, Tschechien oder unzähligen Open Airs und Festival-Locations.

Beim Auflegen erwartet er ähnliches von seinen Hörern, wie von sich selbst. Sich dem Sog seiner nach Aufmerksamkeit stampfenden Tracks hingeben und dabei die Augen schließen  um gemeinsam eine Sprache sprechen zu können. Sehnsüchtig warten wir nun auf die nächste Möglichkeit."
