World Canvas is proud to present a solo body of work by Finnish multimedia artist Kaino Wennerstrand. 'For Those Who Wait' is the debut release on their new artist moniker Kaino Kim Vieno.

The album at hand navigates a theoretically informed intersection of music and experimental sound art, which manifests in compositions encompassing and subverting contemporary genres. Over the course of its 9 songs, ‘For Those Who Wait’ engages with contemporary genre tropes and intertwines them with critically inclined speech fragments and vocals. The unfolding body of work is captivating combination of estranging and intriguing experimentations & beautiful moments sparkled in-between.
The album was made in collaboration with Helsinki-based producer and sound designer Murrettumeri (Henri Nikkilä).

Kaino Wennerstrand is a renowned and awarded Finnish multidisciplinary artist, whose works have touched upon topics such as elderly healthcare and European Union’s history and future.
Wennerstrand also works as a part of musical performance art duo Biitsi with Heidi Wennerstrand.
