English techno heavyweight Cleric returns to his imprint ᴄʟᴇʀɢʏ with a four track EP entitled 'Addicted To Love'. The Manchester label boss, boasts a quartet of pacey and groovy techno numbers that drift between quintessential rave euphoria, broken beat carnage and raw driving grooves.

The 25th edition of Clergy comes in hot with their third release of the year following on from Measure Divide and Kontain’s celestial releases on one of the UK’s most acclaimed techno labels. This time round, label boss Cleric flexes an impressive 12 inch.

We premier the A1 of the record entitled Addicted To Love. The track is rave soaked break-beat techno affair that is made for those goose bump dance floor moments. The 90’s influenced track is submerged with joyous and zestful stabs and vocals that make for an absolute rave anthem. There’ll be an absolute battle to play this upon the reopening of nightclubs.

This track is absolutely infectious and we look forward to hearing it in a dark room on a mammoth sized sound-system with a big grin on our faces.

We start the week off with a bang as Madrid based techno assassin Rodiaz debuts on Marcel Fengler’s Index imrint for their 10th anniversary. The young and promising Spaniard has supplied an elegantly powerful techno anthem, which blurs the line between chaos & euphoria.

Marcel Fengler presents “10 Years IMF,” an energising collection that celebrates a decade of his prominent label Index Marcel Fengler, the longtime Berghain regular begins a new professional chapter as 2022 comes to a close.

A “heart project,” which took two years to complete, features 12 tracks that are exclusive to the collection and, in keeping with the imprint’s concept, brings together established and up-and-coming artists. ’10 Years IMF’ serves as Fengler’s own manifesto of techno and the aesthetic potential of the genre while also presenting tracks that span the complete gamut of the techno genre, from groovy to elegant, industrial to ambient or broken beat, straight up to the tougher techno variation.

Functional and thrilling in equal doses, the compilation explores Fengler’s multi-faceted vision of techno, curating a line-up of tracks from artists across the generation. The compilation includes tracks from; Etapp Kyle, Dasha Rush, SHDW & Obscure Shape, ONYVAA & Mattia Trani, Marcel Fengler & The Advent, VRIL, STEYA, Scalameriya, Gerald VDH, Cratan, Chontane & Rodiaz.

Rodiaz’s ‘The Ancient Sage’ has been a beloved go-to track to close out sets for Fengler and appropriately winds out the project. It’s a timely reminder that techno can be simultaneously elegant and powerful and the dancefloor need not suffer any loss of energy because of it. “He sent me a playlist of uncompromising stunners and each track was better than the last.
