When I visit cities, I try to go to botanical gardens. First, because it's mostly free. Seconds, because you never know what you will see.
In this case, the "garfield conservatory" (massive greenhouses) in Chicago surprised me.
After having seen all of the greenhouses, I sat down in front of the entrance. An old lady rushing into the building asked me "if she was right for the concert here". I said yes because I recognized some people building up some speakers inside the greenhouse. So I figured there's a concert. And it was. I went back inside and listened to a concert by a chinese group of children and teenagers from Shanghai. They were doing some kind of exchange program and this was a free concert in the evening.
Of course I listened to it and did some sound recordings. In this case, it is a tibetan folg song with a wonderful introduction in a strong chinese accent. Please Enjoy.
