Saeed Younan originally from Iraq but now residing in Washington DC since the early 80’s, is a well-known DJ, recording artist, remix producer and head of his own record label (Younan Music). Travelling on a weekly basis and headlining in clubs in countries such as Ibiza, Miami, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and Moscow. He is also constantly working on his own productions and remixes. Having had numerous top 10 singles on Beatport and having worked with some of the biggest dance labels in the House/Techno genre, including Viva Music, Toolroom, Suara, Great Stuff and Spinnin Records. Saeed Younan does not cease to amaze, always looking to astound.

We are extremely excited about this months exclusive mix by Lars Behrenroth.  I first met Lars in Philadelphia when he played a party called Sundae that Lee Jones, Francisco and I put together. This must have been sometime in 2007.  I ran into Lars again at the DEMF festival in Detroit.  We ended up staying at the same hotel.  Lars is no new comer when it comes to internet radio.  He has a massive following with his deeper shades of house podcast (www.deepershades.net) it is celebrating its 12 year anniversary now. The show can be heard on over 30 radio stations worldwide (fm, satellite & online).  His label Deeper Shades Recordings was founded in 2008. The label is now home to 31 digital releases featuring many new and upcoming artists as well as established names in the Deep House industry and has just released its second vinyl.
