Talk - Touching You (Lars Behrenroth Remix)

The long anticipated release of Rocco's production "Saharien Child" is finally here. Two years ago the demo version was given to Deeper Shades Recordings label head Lars Behrenroth and since then Rocco &amp; Lars have been turning heads each time they'd drop the secret weapon at their gigs. 

Arabic vocals are not what you usually find in Deep House. On more than just one level, the Rocco's music and production combined with the passion and heartfelt interpretation of ancient lyrics full of powerful images describing the female power of seduction, "Saharien Child" is mesmerizing dance floors all around the globe.
Once again Rocco is proving that his sound is constantly evolving and each of his creations always offers something brand new. 

Having been inspired by Rocco's version for so long, creating his own interpretation earlier in 2011 was not a far stretch for Lars Behrenroth. The emphasis of his remix also lies on the strong vocals while the music offers an alternative mood and vibe. Lars' beatless reprise version is very nice to mix it up in your sets while both mixes are also available as instrumentals for the vocalphobes.

Last summer, Ultra Knites Records kicked off a series of "Knite Grooves" EP's. UKR006 sees label owners Sem Marini and Mike Sharon make a reappearance for summer 2015, this time under their "Ultra Knites" pseudonym for the third installment of the Knite Grooves series. As has come to be expected from the pair- two tracks on the A side which ooze class and deepness, laced with melodic keyboard solos - elements that were once a staple in the Deep House genre but have since become scarce during recent years. Flipping over to the B side, the pair welcome fresh talent from across the water in the form of a collaboration between US producer Trevor Vichas and Netherlands based Tommy Largo. There's two mixes here of "Gonna Hold On" both of which capture the essence of real Underground House music and maintain the ethos of Ultra Knites Records.

Deeper Shades Recordings opens its second year of releases with a strong EP by a fresh new artist. Salvatore Agrosi is an up and coming 20 year old producer from Italy whose love for Deep House shines through in his tracks.

'Spirit EP' is only Salvatore's second solo release but the deep techy 'Spirit' as well as the organic & percussive 'I Can' have been secret weapons in label head Lars Behrenroth's sets for quite some time now. It doesn't come as a surprise that Lars decided to work out two remixes for the title track himself while Salvatore's 2nd project MindTech delivers a solid and driving remix for 'I Can'.
