British four-piece THE NEW NOSTALGIA are pleased to announce the brand new single A FRIDGE IN BERLIN, their first new music since the release of their debut album BLEED & BLOOM. in 2022. Recorded by Tom Roach (Crawlers, The Lathums, Queen Zee) at Coastal Sound Recording Studio in Liverpool, the song is an all-out aggressive alt-rock rager about the downsides of leaving your hometown in pursuit of big city dreams. Lead singer Patrick McCallion says:

“It’s a song about the mental arithmetic you do when you decide to move away from home in pursuit of some sort of hipster utopia. I moved to Amsterdam in my early twenties but it could just as easily be about London, Berlin, LA, any of these places where you spend half your life at raves and art installations and the other in a miserable flat with a busted radiator.”
