One of my favorite games of all time just slightly topping Secret of Mana. More than anything else, the music pulled me into this game. The composer is Jeremy Soule and I believe he was barely 20 years old when he composed this soundtrack. NOT BAD! Figured I'd remix it a tad but keep the same basic feel as it was already perfect to begin with. Soule would go on to do many other soundtracks and rightfully so. Hope you like.

This track was created using samples exclusively from the Vienna Symphonic Library.  24,495 samples, up to 2,000 voices at once, and just under 2GB of RAM once optimized.
71 players in all.  

This track does not have the chorus, so the brass was implemented in place.  Please enjoy!

Star Wars Imperial March Vader's Return (John Williams) Cover

This is the finale of Rossini's William Tell Overture. This section is also known as "March of the Swiss Soldiers." The popular rhythmic pattern is commonly associated with galloping horses both in cartoons and in real life.

This digital arrangement was based on the original score. Instrumentation consists of a piccolo, a flute, two oboes, two clarinets, two bassoons, four french horns, two trumpets, three trombones, timpani, a triangle, cymbals, and section strings.

All parts were recorded using EastWest/Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra.

The 2010 Proms season will include another Doctor Who Prom, this time receiving two outings on Saturday 24 July and Sunday 25 July, the Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith, and his companions Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and Arthur Darvill (Rory Williams) will host. The initial announcement indicated that the concerts would again feature music from the series, this time alongside pieces by John Adams, Gustav Holst, Karl Orff and Richard Wagner. At the conclusion of the Saturday concert, it was announced it had been filmed, for broadcast in August, 2010

I love music and I've loved it for as long as I can remember.  I'm not talking about loving the latest single on the radio.  I mean a deep passion for great music, old and new, and of nearly any genre (sorry I gotta draw the line at NEW country).

I can attribute my love for it to my mom mostly but my dad played his part too.  I grew up listening to classical, some 80s pop, and what is now classic rock. Now my son is following in the tradition, becoming an amazing guitar player and musician. I'd like to put some of his work on this channel at some point.

This page is just my dabblings into the world of MIDI/DAW which is completely new to me.  Guitar was the instrument I fell in love with but the possibilities with an audio workstation are just endless.  I hope you enjoy the tracks.  The one thing I really need to master is, well, mastering.  Music can be amazing but if it isn't mixed right, it won't sound good at all.

A few months back I started remixing video game music as I discovered this amazing site http://vgmusic.com/ which has TONS of nostalgic video game music in the form of MIDI files. I try to credit the author/sequencer but some do not have a name listed. So I'm linking to the site in general as I only make small modifications to the sequences (instrument changes, BPM changes, add/remove instruments, etc). I want to give credit where it's due and I'm thankful those guys work hard at making the MIDIs available for everyone to enjoy.
