Continuing from her Conscious Cunt EP released on London’s Houndstooth label, Aïsha Devi’s debut album Of Matter and Spirit sees the Swiss-Nepalese producer and vocalist further her highly personal project.

Here, the conceptual musician and label owner resumes her dark and intricate self-journey, described as both an identity search and spiritual quest challenging our perception of reality and the possibility of alter-invisible dimensions, ‘the disconnection between matter and spirit in our society’.

‘Mazdâ’ is “an ‘R’n’B incantation. It’s about burning the ego and finding inner peace. It's a meta love song.”

Aïsha Devi has announced the release of her second album ‘DNA Feelings’ out 11th May. In conjunction with the album announcement came first track ‘Inner State Of Alchemy.’

The second track to feature 'Dislocation Of The Alpha' shows Aïsha creating an almost dreamlike aural state as she calls for her listeners to “Unlearn, dislocate the Alpha.” It’s a significant statement that delves into both the political and the philisophical and yet is only something that could have been made by Devi.
