After the sold-out of the previous 12” Light Touches is back with a hot smoking one ready for the summer!
LTR-05 kicks off with “Things”, a dope sensuous groove paired with an enchanting and fierce voice. “Arigato” pushes the dance vibes in jazz-funk territory with some killer groove and solos all the way thru. Closing the 12” is the stunning “Helpful”, a rich, uplifting philly instrumental of the best kind.
All tracks have been carefully edited without overdubs, in order to bring the spirit of classic disco manipulators to today’s dancefloors!

She is a former resident at House Of Yes (NYC) and Where Are My Keys? (Detroit) and serves as an active member and editor for DJs For Climate Action (DJs4CA), a non-profit based in New York City and Paris.

"Given the tumult of the past several years, the ongoing pandemic, and having landed too far from too many loved ones, sharing music (in a reciprocal sense) is a gift I’ll never again take for granted.

I recently got the chance to process a little with my dad (on his 77th birthday, over FaceTime). We talked about both being exposed early on to complex, emotional music and, by proxy, music as a vehicle that allowed each of us, on our respective paths, to internally manage and articulate complex emotions. 

Weaving tracks I just plain love with others featuring specific qualities I’m moved to introduce during the course of a set, my style is a reflection of my search for an exact sense of home - something both cozy and complex - deep within the music. Having an opportunity to invite others into that home and connecting with them in something so intimate brings me as great a joy as I can imagine. Love and appreciation to those listening."
