Welcome back to a new edition of Fragments! Sorry for the hiatus, it was all her fault. This week is the same as any week....LOADED WITH KILLER TUNES. I'll start by talking about the new EP by https://soundcloud.com/withoutofficial. It's really awesome! Next I will talk about about the reappearance of https://soundcloud.com/notvnoradio. He's got that future sound that we all know and love and he makes it so chillin. Never a dull moment with No Tv No Radio....

Notable singles this week include "Brambles" by https://soundcloud.com/heaththeband. He only has 2 songs on soundcloud but I already love what he's doing. Also make note of the https://soundcloud.com/troyboi song that features singer Nefera. I couldn't find too much about her but my GOD can she sing. A highlight of the playlist for sure. Fragments Vol. 22

Sixth Track off of <a href="https://soundcloud.com/tankobeats/sets/psychotherapy">Tanko - Psychotherapy EP</a>

"Psychotherapy EP" is an instrumental Album accompanied by the lectures of <a href="https://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Watts">Alan Watts(1915-1973)</a>. The segments used in the EP stick to dominantly Zen Buddhist ideologies and in the manner in which Mr Watts presented them. The Instrumentals Sample a variety of genres incorporating Hip-Hop break beats and Electronic influences. The Project itself Is in essence a years work of music and a timeless reminder of a state-of-mind/mood/musical-funk that was compressed into  in 8 songs.

After taking almost a year long break, Tel Aviv trio Royal Disco is back and better than ever with their new EP titled Dark Energy, available now on Beatport, iTunes, and Spotify via Buygore. 
 
Beginning with their EP titled "Dark Energy", you're welcomed into a spatial, atmospheric void filled with melodic keys as you're  bombarded with sawing laser-esque synths and deep sub bass and thrown down the worm hole that is "Dark Energy". As you begin to come up from said ride, you're greeted with soft horns and canorous keys as "Sensei" begins. Just as quick, you're smacked in the face with an aggressive hook as you nose dive into a bass laden drop filled with unsympathetic synths leaving you hyped and wanting more. Luckily, there's one last hill to climb as the final track "Welcome to the Universe" beings with an epic drum intro leading into electro keys, reminiscent of an old John Hughes flick. The harmonious vocals uplift the track, then gets torn back as you fall into merciless drop after drop.

Royal - Passenger (Jai Wolf Remix)

We were sent "Together" a while before it came out and as soon as we heard it we knew we wanted to remix it. After consistently bugging our manager to get us the stems, we finally got them a few months later. This was one track that we knew we would have a lot of fun remixing. There was a lot of experimenting with this remix like pitching already pitched vocals but we loved the way it came out. There are 2 versions of this remix, the extended has a longer first verse so make sure to cop that when it comes out.
