David Hammond, known by his stage name Solis [US], is a Madison, Wisconsin-based producer specializing in deep progressive house. His sound often carries an uplifting melodic quality, shaped by his early musical journey as a bassist at age 15, later transitioning into jazz and lead guitar. 

Solis [US] aims to offer listeners a more sophisticated and emotionally nuanced experience, moving beyond the beat-focused or typical dark, minor-key moods common in dance music. His goal is to create tracks that are just as enjoyable in personal moments—whether driving or socializing—as they are on the dancefloor.

In particular, David strives for a slightly melancholic yet thoughtful vibe that ultimately leaves listeners feeling uplifted.
