Tom Stoppard’s "Arcadia" merges science with human concerns and ideals, examining the universe’s influence in our everyday lives and ultimate fates through the relationship between past and present, order and disorder, and the certainty of knowledge. Set in an English country house in the years 1809-1812 and 1989, the play examines the lives of two modern scholars and the house’s current residents with the lives of those who lived there 180 years earlier.

"Arcadia" stars Kate Burton as Hannah Jarvis, Peter Paige as Valentine, Gregory Itzin as Bernard Nightingale, Jennifer Dundas as Thomasina Croom, Douglas Weston as Septimus Hodge, and Mark Capri as Ezra Chater, with Christopher Neame, Darren Richardson, Kate Steele, Serena Scott Thomas, and David Manis. Associate producers: Christina Montano and Jennifer Brooks. Stage manager: Tracy Pattin. Music supervisor: Scott Willis. Rosalind Franklin was a gifted research scientist who was part of the race to uncover the secrets of DNA in the 1950’s. Her more famous contemporaries Watson and Krick took all the kudos for the discovery of the molecule’s double helix structure—yet it was Franklin’s skill with X-ray diffraction that first uncovered what’s called “the secret of life.”

Includes interviews with Brenda Maddox, the world’s foremost biographer of Rosalind Franklin and author of Rosalind Franklin: The Dark Lady of DNA and Dr. Pamela Björkman, the Max Delbruck Professor of Biology at the California Institute of Technology, and an Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

He nearly had a heart attack racing back fast
Past the traffic going 65 on his way home
He didn't see the flash of gold become a bold red
As he sped toward the intersection on his phone

She was late for work that day heading uptown
How could she see the SUV barreling down?

She'd barely seen the light turn green when she hit the gas
The impact totaled the back, and the passenger's side
She hardly had the time to scream it happened so fast
As they crashed her life flashed right before her eyes

He couldn't wait to accelerate, put this in the past
There's no regret behind a cigarette of shattered glass

Oh the damage was done
Hit and run

Now she's the victim of circumstance, how could she have known?
She's not to blame but all the same she sits there hurt and alone
Too bad she doesn't have insurance; she's all on her own
The bills are piling up, she can't afford another loan!

The doctors say she'll be okay, but the car is a mess
She won't be out of the hospital for three weeks at best

Oh the damage was done

Man, have you no shame?

She's got new outlook on life
She will remember to always look twice

In that intersection where he left her
She saw his reflection in the rear view mirror

Yeah he thought that he could hit and run, but he couldn't hide
The traffic cam confirmed the man had fled the scene of the crime
In his garage they found his Dodge with damage he had denied
The cops inquired if she desired to pick him out from a line

He was prosecuted to the full extent of the law
And he was made to compensate the damage he caused
For his offense they took his license, then they hauled him away
Now she's out driving around in her new Chevrolet
