Avec ses basslines percutantes, ses riffs de guitare rythmiques et ses cuivres incisifs, le morceau réactive l’esprit block-party, les pas de danse spontanés et l'énergie positive de cette culture qui les  inspirée. This track brings back the raw energy of seventies funk. It’s a nod to a group of childhood friends who grew up in the same neighborhood, celebrating above all the attitude, style, and vibe that shaped them: a blend of funk, soul, and boldness.

With its punchy basslines, rhythmic guitar riffs, and sharp brass sections, the track revives the block-party spirit, spontaneous dance moves, and the positive energy of the culture that inspired them. No nostalgia here: it’s a revival, a contemporary reinterpretation of that foundational groove that still brings them together.

An all-star funk jam featuring the soulful voices of Stephanie McKay, Desmond Foster and Papa Dee along with Everton Sylvester’s dub poetry. The single will be available for download and streaming on October 2nd via Dorado Records and the album 'Funk Ain't Ova' will be out November 13th.
