For the holiday season, "Latin Pulse" revisits music and culture in Latin America. This program is a sequel of sorts to last month's music special (http://soundcloud.com/latinpulse/lp111811) that focused on music and social movements. This program again has a focus on Afro-Cuban culture and Cuban rap. But this special also talks about rap as protest music in Puerto Rico and Mexico. The program includes frank discussion about the delicate subject of race relations in Cuba. The news segment of the program includes the latest on heated political exchanges between the U.S. and Venezuela.

A Congolese and French Born French/American Raised artist with the ambition of bringing a new element to rap. Dave Tsimba is an the pure embodiment of a musician with many talents. He brings not only life to his art yet portrays much of his emotions in his music. Whether it be that of pain (such as in @Patience Dave Tsimba ) , the vibe he brings ( @Wavy Dave Tsimba ) or a, in today’s modern terms, turn up mode (@Rollin Dave Tsimba) , he never fails to be able to relate to everyone around him. A unique style, although comparable to his peers in the game, he takes pride in being able to rap and sing in both languages of English and French! Piano playing, beat making, self mixing artist that just wants you to “vibe with him.” No two songs bring the same vibe and if you ever get a chance to listen, just pay close attention to the lyrics. The instrumental plays a huge role in bringing you in, yet Dave always wants to close you out as not only a fan but as family. Enjoy!
