Born and raised in and around South Africa, a writer, rapper, producer and sound engineer, Laudable has always been drawn to the stage. At the age of 15 he started releasing music from his bedroom under the pseudonym “Parenthemis”. By 2015 he released his first self-produced mixtape titled 'Survivor’s Guilt’ under the name Laudable. A year later he released another project titled ‘Don’t become Your Scars’. After spending time crafting his lyrical delivery and sound engineering he has been able to build himself a solid platform to express and released another bedroom project titled ‘It Won’t Be Us’ where he worked closely with producer Langa Gosani working on becoming a true hip-hop purist.
Moving to Cape Town in 2017 to enrol at City Varsity as a Sound Engineering student and is currently completing his second year. In In 2018 he released a Demo project titled ‘PERSONALSPACE’. Which encapsulated his experiences as a youth in Johannesburg through his specific lyrical style which is reminiscent and infused with traditional hiphop undertones combined with the newer generations influences. This project serving as his most calculated and polished project taking around two years to complete with producer features from Langa Gosani, Daev Martian, NotBenjamin and Andrew Jordan and vocal features from Lauren Manning and Samurai Farai. Since moving to Cape Town he has been fortunate enough to perform at places such as Bob’s Bar District and The Waiting Room.
He has just recently released his first music video titled ‘Neverland’ available on Youtube which he co-directed and edited. While creating a style and distinguishable sound he is making his way through the ranks and proving himself every-time as someone not to be ignored.
