Umwelt and Dez Williams, following recent releases on Boidae and Vanta Series, make up the A side with two booming productions; Only Way I Know, an ever-intensifying 100 BPM eyes-down roller and Mankind Origin, a heavy, melodic trip in signature Umwelt form.

On the flip, Dmitry Distant and Igors Vorobjovs team up on the stinging, rapid electro cut Cold Scape, and Fleck E.S.C rounds off MTRON002 with Dimmer Set Up, another bubbly electro track from the Tokyo-based producer’s vault of dramatic, buzzed-out alien sounds.

Synapse “Scientism EP”  is an overview of the last 20 years of regress in modern culture. The erosion of democratic values, the abuse of science, the distortion and manipulation of facts and the deliberate seeds of discord sown by the powerful to create schism in the fabric of society; enabling the few to exercise control over the many. All that and funk... good old American Electronic New York City Funk.

“Schismsim” could easily have been written to describe the the present state of the body politic, but it was produced over a decade before. How long and slow the decline of civilization, how glitched out and disjointed it sounds. You can listen day and night but must choose left or right. 

“Facts” are what we fight over to the detriment of truth. How can “facts” be a-political when so many powerful interests are paying to manufacture them? Synapse paid with human efforts to produce this lament for humanity that is lost in an ocean of disinformation. It has a pretty melody though…

The system is “Stealing Science” to further the agendas of our overlords. It’s also a very profitable endeavor as our economy becomes more dependent on automation and artificial intelligence.  Synapse used some old fashioned human intelligence to compose this suspense filled film noir rocker. 

“Pluralism” regrets the demise of our open and democratic society from the perspective of the frog left in the stove top pot of now boiling water. May at least in our last moments of consciousness we have a cosmic rocker with which to comprehend the folly of our plight. Synapse provides the funk for our requiem.

Synapse “Scientism EP” is on the dark side with glimpses of light; it’s on the lighter side of darkness; its on the fun side of funk. Use their science to further a funkier agenda and get up on the one truth of our oneness.

involved with the projects all this years, its a great honor to share releases with you. 

Dalekovod (power lines) – Series of Electro music compilations released on Crobot Muzik (1st Croatian electro label), formed by DJ Xed and N-ter, founders of Crobot Crew. 

Whole purpose of this series was to connect Electro artists from all around the world, who share same passion for Electro music. 

Dalekovod is not just just a word, it means so much more. Power stands for electric charge that flows through our system. Lines represent connection that binds us all. 

And through electro music we became true friends.

Born in Venezuela and based in Barcelona, Luis Garban aka Cardopusher has spent the last decade creating a wide variety of noisy dancefloor assaults. Although his roots lie in the breakcore scene, he’s slowly gravitated toward a raw, electro-infused take on techno that is no less compelling. Along the way, he’s released music via labels like Terminal Dusk, Murder Channel, Hyperdub, and Tigerbeat 6, and has also found the time to launch his own Classicworks imprint, which he continues to run alongside co-founder Nehuen. Cardopusher has also forged a relationship with German bass enthusiast Boys Noize, issuing a pair of EPs as well as two full length albums.

We are proud to present a new 6-track EP titled ‘Muscle Memory’ that takes the listener on a deep and gritty ride through his diverse sound, from techno to electro, acid, rave, and house. Luis is inspired by labels like Warp, Schematic, Planet Mu, Rephlex, as well as EBM and New Beat. Hard-smacking claps and raw TB-303 sequences merge with robotic vocals, solid and perfect for dark dance floors. The B-side features one track with haunting guest vocals by fellow Barcelona musician, Ivy Barkakati. Luis says the main themes of this EP are obscurity, desperation, confusion, nostalgia, escaping the world’s indifference. All songs have been mastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios. Housed in a workout themed die-cut jacket designed by Eloise Leigh with raw acid-style mixed bold type and sporty graphics.
