Kevin Soulgroove has been  a dj now for 26 years. But has been a fan of music all his life. Liking all varieties of music. Defining his favorite as whatever is "good".

 First experiencing edm or club music when he was 18 years old. He would attend the 18 and up night(every Wednesday) at the Cardinal Bar( Madison Wi.) He would listen and dance to the music of Nick Nice and Chad Mindrive. Two of the biggest influences on his dj career.

 Soon,  he was playing at his first parties in the mid 1990's. House parties. Always his true favorite. He played at basement parties all over Madison. Gaining confidence, he was soon playing warehouse and club parties in La Crosse, Wausau, Stevens Point,Eau Claire, Green Bay and Madison. 

With these bookings came a new opportunity .He began to branch out . He started his own residency .Tuesday's @ Maduro. Lasting three years.This night soon became a fun and popular Tuesday destination.

After this he gained a highly coveted  Saturday(monthly) At the Cardnial Bar.With major support from Mike Carlson(a Madison House legend)and his now good friend. This lasted another 4 years.

 Later, he drew an interest in throwing his own parties. And with this came the opportunity to play with Terry Mullan, Speedy, Danny the Wildchild, David Hollands , Huggie , Halo, DRC , Bassex , Robert Armani, and Mark & Karl Almaria. As well as the many talented Madison djs.

Currently he is working on new mixes. Has joined A.M.E.(after midnight entertainment). First as a dj/promoter. Now as part onwer.  A.M.E. is dedicated to the underground. Having thrown two very successful outdoor events. DR. Rockso's in 2015. One tent. Many great dj's .

Bass HARVEST 2016. TWO BIGGER tents. MANY<MANY great dj's. The addition of Danesafe. Some new great vendors and lighting displays. A.M.E. also does clubs, private parties, and weddings. Including light and sound rental. (Shameless plug lol)
   
A.M.E. went on to do Bass Harvest 1 and 2 to great success as an outdoor 3 day party. Followed that up with the very successful Hotel parties with BBB and UDJSS.  That included DJ Hyperactive, /danny the wildchild, jevon jackson, the almaria brothers , centrific, fortune, thrasher, wenz  and many many more.

After all this I retired from djing and A.M.E. in 2018 to focus on more home based projects to include online live streams and the occasional mix.

Bringing us to the current time and a new mix to drop in spring 2020.

One of the staples of Madison's vibrant music scene, The People Brothers Band has been spreading their brand of Rhythm and Soul around the Upper Midwest for nine years. Currently working on their second studio album, the band is known for energetic live shows and ability to connect with the audience.
