This song is the second single which featured on “Contradiction” which has been released on May 2013. Afternoon Talk still stands its ground with a unique combination of acoustic sound and simple tones, on top of rich and redolent atmospheres.

The name of Contradiction is a personal and masterful interpretation of Afternoon Talk’s music with various style combinations. These combinations unintentionally create such a kind of contradiction in innermost construal between each song without leaving the concept of simplicity towards their music by expanding sound with some new instruments like drum, djembe, trumpet, keyboard, and glockenspiel.

Almost entirely self-produced, Afternoon Talk has delivered alteration, uplifting, and improved album. The songs deliver emotions, triumph, pleasant thoughts, insincerity, admiration, unrequited love and everything in between.

The songs, some new and some not so, are Afternoon Talk’s musical journey and this album is a collection of songs with different styles reflecting Afternoon Talk’s musical roots.

On the album cover, the moon and the sun kissed as a symbolic reflection of this whole track. 
Contradiction has been released on May 2013 and now it's available on selected store around Indonesia.

The National are a Brooklyn-based five-piece hailing from Ohio. The group contains two pairs of brothers -- Bryce Dessner (guitars), Aaron Dessner (bass, guitars), Scott Devendorf (bass, guitars), and Bryan Devendorf (drums) -- and features Matt Berninger on vocals. The National's music has drawn comparisons to Interpol, the Smiths, Tindersticks, and Tom Waits -- the latter due to Berninger's shattered, beautiful earthquake of a voice, which recalls the holy trinity of Cave, Cash and Cohen. However, though concerned with the forensics of heartbreak specifically and the human condition generally, the band are no mere copycats.
