Mumbai based DJ BRIDGES sets are all about emotional tension, space and weight. Moving between ambient textures, UK Bass, Garage, Breaks and everything in between, BRIDGES always chases a feeling than a formula. With a style inspired by artists like Overmono, Joy Orbison and Leon Vynehall, BRIDGES tries to build journeys that sit somewhere between introspection and release.

About The Mix -

For my mix for Filth Inc., I wanted to tell a story that starts in a meditative, almost sacred headspace, and gradually pushes into darker, grittier club sounds.

It opens with YULLOLA’s Crosstalk edit of “Sister Mountain,” which sets this kind of eerie calm, before slipping into the broken glitch of Tourist & Gold Panda, and later into more percussive cuts from Burna, Flatmate, and PÉPE.

Midway through, it gets weird in the best way Canary Yellow’s edit of Zammuto, Former’s “Turnhand,” and the cold techno edges of Somne and Felix Fleer. But even in the heaviest moments, I’ve tried to hold onto a sense of melody and emotion. I close it out with Atrip and Kelbin’s remix of Aleph tracks that feel like closing your eyes in a crowd and letting go.

This mix is a reflection of where I’m at musically right now searching for that sweet spot between vulnerability and power on the dancefloor. Hope it moves you the way it moved me while recording it."
