Multi-disciplinary musician and producer Lauren Mia has officially announced her debut album RE:BIRTH. The intricate musical web she weaves across her unique, analog soundscapes of Melodic Techno and Progressive House has shaped an ethereal, dynamic signature sound brimming with sacred texture and identity that has set the stage for her debut album.

RE:BIRTH’s lead single “Shadow” was written about Lauren’s own personal shadow-work, a process of deep reflection and commitment to self-awareness to get to know the parts of oneself that often subconsciously lurk in the shadows of our minds. Sonically, the album’s first single is an expansive arrangement juxtaposed between a dynamic percussive profile and innovative synthesis, next-generation melodic techno. the second track of my first EP of the year

Been a long time coming but I'm starting to put out music again and it feels fitting to start with this EP. The EP is called Medulla /Stasis, and both themed around the mind, being stuck in thought patterns and the messy road to overcoming these challenges that often we place for ourselves, and new beginnings. Something which I've experienced a lot of this year.

Hope you enjoy this track, I wanted to create more of a journey here that just a 4 minute banger single. This track is very much inspired by old prog house classics from labels such as Hooj Choons.
