Here are my covers of movie scores. I do everything by ear, so there might be some mistakes!

I used Garritan Personal Orchestra to do this cover by ear, and it's actually the first time I ever used this software so I'm still struggling with mixing :)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 - Courtyard Apocalypse Cover

This orchestral cover was done only by ear, so excuse any mistake, I did my best though! Since I only have a pretty weak laptop, it's not powerful enough to deal with Garritan Personal Orchestra in Cubase and all the effects I have to put on each track, so sorry for the bad sound quality and the weird "distortions" especially towards the end, it's terrible :(

Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire - Hogwarts' Hymn Cover

Here's a cover of the track "Obliviate", from the movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. I did my best, but since I do everything by ear, I apologize if there's any mistake :)
I used Garritan Personal Orchestra to do this, I can't afford any other library, and since transcripting movie scores is only a hobby I guess GPO is enough for me :)

Here's a little cover I did of a track from the movie Somewhere in Time. It was composed by John Barry. I used Steinberg's Grand Piano 2 and Garritan Personal Orchestra for the violin. Thanks a lot for listening ! :)

As usual, it's a cover I did by ear to work on transcribing scores. Sorry if there's any mistake ! 
I first heard this melody on TV, in an ad for a famous watch brand. I used Steinberg's Grand Piano 2 and Garritan Personal Orchestra with Cubase 5. I did my best to find the notes ! Thanks a lot for listening !

"Lullaby of the Soul", by John DelVento

Here's a cover of a really short track. It's one of my favorite themes from Alexandre Desplat. Since this was played during the very last scene at Hogwarts, it was really emotional to think all these movies were over. 
As usual, I did everything by ear, played every single note with a Yamaha NP-V80 and Cubase. This is the first time I use LA Scoring Strings 2 though.

Alexandre Desplat - A New Beginning (from "The Deathly Hallows Part 2") COVER (full orchestra)

Here's a cover of Lily's theme, from the last movie of the saga. It's pretty sad but beautiful. I played every note by ear, and for the voice I used Shevannai Voice of the Elves. The sound is a bit weird because Cubase 5 crashed like 5 times, and when I finally made it run, Kontakt crashed and I had to reload the samples... Well the sound's weird...

Alexandre Desplat - Lily's theme COVER (full orchestra) / Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Here's my transcription of "Leaving Hogwarts", the music that's playing at the end of the first and the last movie of the saga. I did everything by ear so I hope there's not too many mistakes! It took me about 9 hours to record and edit everything! So tiring !
Everything was done with LA Scoring Strings 2 and Garritan Personal Orchestra in Cubase 5.

Here's a cover of the track called "Death of Cedric", from Harry Potter's 4th film. Just rewatched that film and it made me wanna cover that track :)

I basically play every single note I can hear without quantizing anything so it gives it a "natural" sound :)

My usual gear is made of a Yamaha NP V80, cubase AI5 on a Macbook Pro 13" (4 Go RAM) and a bunch of VSTs.
