I absolutely adore this piece by Rachel Portman and this is an amazing performance. I also tune out music scores by ear like the soundtrack to the films 'My Dog Skip' and 'Bicentennial Man', fantastic!

Here's a small cover of a pretty short track from the movie "The Cider House Rules". It's the main theme of the movie, composed by Rachel Portman (Oliver Twist). As usual, I played everything by ear with a Yamaha NP-V80, Cubase 5, Garritan Personal Orchestra and Steinberg's Grand Piano 2. Thanks for listening guys !

The Jane Campion Film "The PIANO"  got  its  soundtrack  by  the  minimal music  composer  Michael Nyman, who created an exceptional soundtrack to the  very  spheric  and  dense  movie.
The  major cast  was  Holly Hunter  and  Harvey  Keitel besides  Sam Neill.
Bastian Lee Jones   chose the piece "The Heart Asks Pleasure First", which is his 14th recording of 2015.
