Impact Diamonds is a Pop/Dance project established in the beginning of 2016 by the producers Maurizio and Simon. They first met at a record label in Hamburg and soon decided to start their own musical project.

Simon: „We became friends very soon and since we were both making music, we quickly started to write and produce songs together.“

Maurizio: „ It all felt very natural since we both have our roots in Electronic Music. The desire to make Pop Music was strong so we decided to form Impact Diamonds.“

Being heavily influenced by their childhood music from the 90s and early 2000s, melodies play an important rule in Impact Diamonds’ music.

Maurizio: „Most of the Pop songs from this time were so catchy due to their simple, yet brilliant melodies. We draw a lot of inspiration from that.“

Simon: „Melodies need to get stuck in your head. That’s crucial.“

Musik von und für's Herz! Eine Mischung aus melodischem Tech und Deep House gepaart mit Pop-Stücken. #gestörtabergeil

Der gebürtige Hamburger besteht zu mind. 51% aus echtem Seemannsgarn und vertilgt schonmal ein bis drei Matjesfilets am Nachmittag, denn das ist bekanntlich gesund und versalzt einem den Tag. Seinen Heimathafen hat er bei den Klabautermännern- und Frauen des Hamburger Pastanaga Kollektivs gefunden. Doch die See rief ihn und so lichtete er Anfang 2021 die Anker und erkundete für 3 Jahre die Clubgewässer Berlins, bevor es wieder zurück zum Tor zur Welt ging. 

Das tanzmusikalische Seefahrereinmaleins studierte er bei schunkeligen Ausfahrten am Südpol oder im Moloch sowie in der berühmt-berüchtigten, grummeligen Bucht. Angetan vom Gesang der Snarenen und mitgerissen vom Wellengang der tieffrequenten Baselines fielen ihm irgendwann die Schuppen von den Augen und er beschloss das Ruder selbst in die Hand zu nehmen, hisste die Schwalbenflagge und stach mit seiner Jolle Namens Irene in See. Schon von weither erkannte man ihn durch das Fernrohrokular, denn anstelle von zerfetztem Schlapphut und ner Pulle Rum – wie man das bei so manch lausigem Piratenpack erwarten mag – trifft man Capitano niklasecco stets mit passender Kopfbedeckung und ner Flöte perligem Schaumwein an.

Seine Expeditionen in die knatterigen Tiefgewässer folgen einer klaren Route: Die Kompassnadel zeigt zweifellos in Richtung massig-bassig und das Echolot verzeichnet niedrigfrequente Beschallung. Wir tuckern mit geschmeidig aufregenden 106-116 bpm-knoten immer der Nase nach – mal links mal rechts zack – ohne Ziel und ohne Plan, doch ohne uns je wirklich zu verfahren.

It all begins with Music. MISTASY, a young talented producer from Germany, has already worked for artist like BAHAR, SPACEBOYZ, LAYZEE, KENDRICK, JUNIOR OWUSU, YVI or BARKOT. Born near by Hamburg in 1989, MISTASY’s passion for music started at the age of 12 through learning to play guitar. When he was 17 he started to produce professional music with Logic and set up his own recording and production studio. Influenced by Oliver Heldens, Steve Angello, Curtis Mayfield, Al Green and many more, his house sound gained a huge attention on many blogs and platforms.
