Part psych, part world, part tribal. The aptly named duo Mushrooms Project have an ease in which they blend a range of unique elements into cohesive and heady pieces of sonic art. Mondo Janga is an EP that avoids formula entirely, and can be club or home centrepieces.  In our ears, their signature sound blends playful percussion, and a strong contingent of sample and synth exploration. That sound is showcased perfectly in these 3 tracks. 
Carefully selected artists were enlisted to re-interpret the original visions. With 3 remixes of the title track Multi Culti’s Thomas Von Party took Janga to the late hours, with his deep and driving remix.  While Twerking Class Heroes put their broken beat bliss stamp on the same and finally a tasteful and elegant organic interpretation by Italy’s rising Migra. Finally, Da Iguana slinks his way to another quirky and exciting remix of Mondo that will have you jumpin’

Iron-leg Ruben Coslada takes the »extraordinary cosmic bananas« for an exciting ride on the endless roads of Highway 303, motherland of acid. Daniel Hokum, aka the Groove-Monster, gives "super elastic" a quite special stretch and delivers a remix in his very unique trademark sound, while Timboletti is verifying the information and his results are stunning.

In der Schnittmenge von Band und Maschinenmusik holt uns das Geschwisterduo Mo et Moi gleich doppelt ab. Das repetitive Knallen der Kickdrum kitzelt eine Ecke des Gehirns, die mit gedankenverlorenem Bewegungsdrang und dem daraus resultierenden Glücksgefühl zu tun hat. Derweil schmiegt sich der handgespielte Vibe ihrer Musik mit der Dynamik eines wärmenden Schals um die tanzende Seele. Über dem obertonreichen, meditativen Klingeln von ‘The Deep Heart's Core’ und der vom Showdown eines Western angehauchten Gitarrengeschichte von ‘Dream’  schwebt die Stimme von Sängerin Clara allgegenwärtig und doch niemals aufdringlich. Der Remix von Dole & Kom groovt mit auf den Punkt gebrachter Rhythmik daher, Anton Feine führt uns derweil auf eine tiefenentspannte Dub-Exkursion.  

Sitting right between band and machine-made music, the two siblings Mo et Moi draw their intriguing catchiness from two different sources. There’s the repetitive bang of the kickdrum that triggers an instant urge to move - which again triggers an instant feeling of bliss and well-being. And there’s the hand-played vibe of their music that wraps around the dancing soul like a warm scarf. The omnipresent, yet subtle voice of singer Clara hovers between the meditative ringing of ‘The Deep Heart’s Core’ and the guitar-lead narrative of ‘Dream’ that somehow resembles the showdown scene of a Western. The stripped-down remix of Dole & Kom grooves along with flawless rhythmic precision, while Anton Feine takes us on a laid-back excursion to the world of Dub.

Mo Et Moi - Dream (Anton Feine Remix)

This is Atemporal, a timeless sound journey through undiscovered cultures by Amsterdam-based @krautmusica (Daniel Zuur). Inspired by music from Central Africa, Nigeria and Ivory Coast, it evolved into a robust four-track EP. KRAUT composed a sound bouquet full of warm kalimba flavours, driving djembe’s blended with punchy kicks and hypnotizing synthesizers. For the track Luna Nueva, KRAUT worked together with Israel-based percussionist @nadavdagon. After four strong releases, KRAUT went back to the original sounds of his Especias EP (Shika Shika, 2016). Laut & Luise is a Music Lovers Club from Berlin && Cologne

Laut & Luise releases carefully selected music on vinyl, individually touched and underlined by a special and characteristic artwork in order to give back at least some love.

Luise herself provides dance music, calm and dubby, still with a definite focus on house and techno.

Aside from the main label, our younger imprint Luettje Luise is meant to be a playground for sounds beyond genres and borders, trying to stay open-minded like daddy Ernst Jandl was.

What is the opposite of little? Lost. A new little sub by Laut & Luise, limited to nothing but a digital playback device and labeled with a mouse crafted artwork. Lost in Luise, for the digital natives and the internet explorers.
