A beautifully melancholic valse triste. A very smooth change from the 3/4 to the 4/4 part at 2:30!

I quite like this series. Very evocative. And I dare say, this puts me in mind of Satie in a few places.

Waltz in Db minor, number II, because at the age of 23 I had written a waltz in Db minor also. Made the prelude for this piece (in playlist "Pianoworks"), afterwards (op.6 no.3). 

The boy in the image, generated about the way I wanted it, reminds me of my younger brother with whom I share the sadness of having our mother leaving us way too soon (age 44). There is a darkness, as well as light and joy in this piece. But she made her choice, which I respect.

Ein harmonischer Augenblick, ein Lichtblick, ein wunderschöner Sonnenaufgang, ein Glücksgefühl das uns durchströmt in dem wir in verliebte Augen schauen.
Das Betrachten der Natur, eines Bildes. Was immer es auch sei.
Wahrhaftige Momente der Wertschätzung des geschenkten Augenblicks werden geboren. 

Es scheinen nur kleine helle Momente zu sein, aber die Kraft ist größer als wir je erahnen.
Sie sind das hoffnungsvollste Elixier des Lebens.
Wir alle haben täglich solche hellen Momente. Wir sollten diese dankbar erkennen und mehr und mehr lieben lernen. Das macht uns unendlich Reich.

Mögen Sie alle über meine Worte denken wie Sie wollen. 
Jetzt in diesem Augenblick während Sie diese Worte lesen, und diese Musik hören, kommen Ihnen vielleicht doch Erinnerungen an kleine helle Momente.

Möge dieses kleine Musikstück der Soundtrack vieler kleiner heller Momente sein.

"Little bright moment" (08/11/2023)

A harmonious moment, a ray of hope, a beautiful sunrise, a feeling of happiness that flows through us when we look into the eyes of love.
Looking at nature, at a picture. Whatever it is.
True moments of appreciation of the given moment are born.

It just seems like small moments of light, but the power is greater than we can ever imagine.
They are the life's most hopeful elixir.
We all have such bright moments on a daily basis. We should recognize them gratefully and learn to love them more and more. That makes us infinitely rich.

May you all think of my words as you will.
Right now, as you read these words and listen to this music, memories of little bright moments may come to you.

May this little piece of music be the soundtrack of many little bright moments.

Little bright moment

"Without a Song" is a song composed by Vincent Youmans with lyrics later added by Billy Rose and Edward Eliscu, published in 1929. It was included in the musical play "Great Day". The playas a flop, but contained two songs which became famous, "Without a Song" and "Great Day".

"One Song" is a song from Walt Disney's 1937 animated movie "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" It was written by Larry Morey (lyrics) and Frank Churchill (music).
