Concept:
A sonic descent along the Mississippi River — from frozen silence to industrial chaos.
– Headwaters (Minnesota): thin, brittle drones and trembling sub-bass evoke cracking ice under pressure.
– Mid-Flow: dusty, analog-sounding percussion thickens the current with sediment-like texture.
– Delta Heartlands: mechanical swing and swamp-slow grooves blur into distorted echoes of forgotten blues.
– Industrial South: near New Orleans, hydraulic bass lines and rusted foghorns rise from a haze of distortion.
– At the Gulf: low-end turbulence and warm analog hiss mark the river’s final exhale into saltwater.

No vocals. No melody. No release.

His hometown Dortmund plus the tangible influences from his hip-hop background has had a massive impact on his style, even so, they never restricted his nature. Music as a therapeutic remedy to leave the messy world of thoughts behind and yet to answer frequently asked questions with ease. It’s the love of his life as he enjoys sharing the feeling & letting go with beautiful dancing people around.

Velix has had this passion for music for over 15 years now - starting early with hip-hop and soon got introduced to break-beats, jungle, minimal and electro through graffiti and aerosol-filled nights with friends. Laxberger started DJing in Dortmund bringing about his first gigs in the infamous “Tonstudio” playing micro and acid house. After a while switched to techno & began his journey with the @Ketoga family in the club “Odonien” in Cologne. His sets are variable, open and full of contrarieties forging a harmonic equilibrium. Convince yourself & enjoy the ride!
