“eva aka eves120 was born and raised in dresden, saxony but living in Leipzig for more than 3 years now. She started djing in 2017 influenced by the disco genre from her crew called palais palett. With time taste changes so does hers and she said goodbye to disco after some years. For the last years she is know for faster breaks mixed with proggy house up to electro. Since more than a year she is resident of the well known objekt klein a in Dresden after working there for years and grown up at this beautiful place”. 

Maybe I am wrong but when I started djing 6 or 7 years ago it feels like that was the time things started to change a bit? Because before I had one of my first gigs a guy I didn’t really know that well came to me and said ‘u are djing? That’s cool because I am looking for a female DJ for my line up’. He never heard anything that I played. At that time I was just happy and honored that someone even ask me to play but when I think about this today it feels weird. Cause that was not the last time I’ve heard that kind of sentences. Don’t get me wrong, mixed line ups are important and we are definitely on a good way but in my opinion music should always be the priority. So listen to female DJs and book them if u like their music, not the other way around. Besides this I have to say for now I feel very comfortable as a female DJ in this business, but especially support from other flintas feels always great. So don’t stop supporting each other :-)

Drawing inspiration from the timeless sounds of House and the infectious grooves of Italo Disco, jon bouvier infuses his sets with a distinct flair, trying to create an experience with a wide range of musical influences. 
As the turntables spin, he tries to create a harmonious blend of old-school charm and cutting-edge tracks.

He can often be found with his twin brother behind the turntables. Les Bouviers love to balance between genres. From disco to breakbeat, from house to italo. Everything may happen, as long as it makes the bodies move and the faces grin.

jon bouvier started his musical journey as a DJ in Berlin but developed his sound in Dresden. For over 5 years the Dresdener by choice has been actively involved in the electronic music scene - whether at illegal raves, independent festivals, in clubs or as co-founder and resident of @fragmenteddigital

AINO has been slowly but steadily making her way through the electronic music landscape: after digging through and trying out many different styles during the past almost two years of getting to play in different clubs and at various festivals, this 90 minute podcast is a pretty adequate representation of where she stands right now soundwise. Starting with house vibes, moving on to bassier music and finishing with some of her favourite four to the floor vinyl records. AINO also hosts a regular night at JAKI club, aiming to push more balanced line-ups in the city together with her collective Précey. During the day you’ll find her in the backoffice of JAKI.

eves120 aka Eva wohnt in Leipzig, ist allerdings aus der Welt der elektronischen Musik in ihrer Heimatstadt Dresden (und weit darüber hinaus) schon lange nicht mehr wegzudenken. In der oka/pp Kultur-WG sitzt sie fest im Sattel der DJ-Booths, von denen aus sie die musikalischen Zügel des Orts aktiv mitsteuert. So ist es nur passend, dass dieser Mix auf eine Live-Aufnahme von unserer HyperLove-Party letzten Sommer ist. House Music vom allerfeinsten – prepare to fly in 1,2,0...

eves120 aka Eva lives in Leipzig, but the world of electronic music in her hometown of Dresden (and far beyond) wouldn't be the same without her. In the oka/pp cultural WG, she sits firmly in the saddle of the DJ booths, from which she actively steers the musical identity of the place. So it's only fitting that this mix is a live recording from our HyperLove party this past summer. House music at its best - prepare to fly in 1, 2, 0...

Love letter from DJ Chichi 💌

today is a special day, Chichi brings us flowers and pralines. Everyone who’s heard her play will know what to expect: A variety of well chosen records, played in a fine mixture of vinyl and digital. Nothing less than an hour of deep diving into soundscapes and emotions. A connoisseur set - wrapped with love, with tracks by Dj Plead, Acidfinky, Miles Amillion, David Löhlein and others.
You can almost grasp the concentration seeing Chichi play, leaving a remarkable feeling of seriousness about the craft. That is also what she transports while talking. She feels deeply connected to the scene, being the reason why her and the xcuse:u events are demanding change without just opening another hedonistic space. Having organized the 8-to-the-floor-event at Alte Münze, hosting a show on Refuge Worlwide, having played at OXI, Mensch Meier and our beloved Kiek Beyond Festival, Chichi has become a crucial part of the scene.

In episode 12 of the Visionscast, DJ Chichi moves around through genres and moods, from groovy percussions and vocal samples over deep house to proggy and breaky sections, presenting her whole toolbox of electronic joy. This joy has also reached Visionskultur, which is why Chichi has not only played one of the legendary B2Bs with BBY G at Humboldthain Club for a Visionskultur Club Night or taken over the Nest floor at our festival, but has also evolved to being a very much appreciated and loved human being <3

Hailing from Leipzig by choice, eves120’s roots trace back to dresden. As a resident of Objekt klein a she always likes to return to the hallowed halls, which she once helped to create as part of the Palais Palett itself. After a few years behind the bar of her favorite club and second home, she played her first gig in 2017, then influenced by disco, her sets are now mainly house-heavy with progressive and broken influences.
