Hailing from Potsdam, Germany, we welcome Rill for Podcast #247. The DJ/producer is co-head of the Berlin-based techno label MITSU2000 and @syntop_kollektiv .

With a sound deeply rooted in early 2010s techno, Rill has quickly become a standout figure thanks to his sharp track selection and highly praised productions. With a recent feature on Rødhåd’s fabric mix and a strong discography of his own, he’s shaped a distinct style of brain-melting machine wares paired with precise use of synths and FX. Proper timeless, functional techno that just works.

On #247, he nods to the stripped-back, raw energy of the early 2010s. A delicate balance between synthetic textures and mechanical drive.

A fifteen minute hike brought Blossom & Bones festival guests to this remote immersive location for deep listening and dancing in the beauty of New Mexico's Piedra Lumbre ('Shining Stone') of the Chama Valley. It's been a dream of many years in the making to bring a dj experience to share here in this remote location.

here is the set that I played at Kater at the wonderful liminal Event on September 26th in 2025. It's hard to play fluffy downtempo these days and because I didnt feel like playing filthy downtempo I dug deep into the fluffy deep house sound of the 2010s. 27 of these 40 tunes are released before 2015, most around 2010/2011. I hope you like this fluffy driving ride <3
