Allen writes and performs his own blend of Americana-folk-rock-soul, along with a dash of blues and 'non-twang country'. His music is influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, Bruce Cockburn, Jackson Browne, James McMurtry, James Taylor, Van Morrison, &amp; others. Allen played behind others in bands for years, before stepping up to the mic and developing a style and repertoire all his own.
