Galileo's telescopic observation of the moons of Jupiter orbiting the planet  was a black swan moment for the Church's earth centred view of the universe. As ever those whose long held beliefs were challenged by the facts did not react well. Plus ca change.

WARNING: This is one of my Avant-Garde theatrical pieces and NOT a love song! It's an instrumental about the dangers of war and the horror of a Nuclear bomb being dropped somewhere! Perfect timing for today, right? It's not a pleasant theme or thought but I'm really worried about the mindset that this world is in at the moment, even the doomsday clock is the closest it has been to midnight ever! Whichever country is stupid enough to drop a nuke, will be the country that dooms us all! The planet may survive but humanity and the animal kingdom will certainly perish with the nuclear fallout. I'm a veteran and I don't want us to end in such a selfish, cowardly, idiotic manner such as this!!

Mr Bringer-er Together-er is Josh. You may also know him as artist Entheogenic Psychnought, or the spine of Eclectic Collective. We all came across Josh in our own lucky ways, but he really sets a high bar for spreading constructive musical love and encouragement on SoundCloud. This song started out as a comment. I (Carl/TBD) went to call Josh Mr Bringer-er Together-er and my phone auto corrected it. the next morning K2 swooped in and said what I wanted so I used that as a trigger for the song.
So, I had a rough arrangement. We then invited a few artists, except Josh, to paint it for him. Scratch Kelly, aka Sarah, beamed through some amazing vocals. Not long behind Joe Stroffolino painted in some brilliant backing vox. Then Scotty (One Man Verity Show) chimed in with some amazing guitar, trippy backing vocals, and the super artwork you get to enjoy. Mark brushed in a triangle and some vox, and then Ken added those trusty drums. Tez then strutted in and added some super lead guitar, and not far behind him was Stephen with some epic rhythm guitar that showed the way for the song from that point of view showing a much better space to all the other instruments than the original demo guitar. That was a lovely lesson on less is more...

The song was now ready to give to the main man for him to paint, and he chose his trusty bass to put some strawberries on his own musical cake.

I now stared at 37 tracks and went... Hmmm Stephen, Help! Stephen mixed and mastered it to its crisp current form, and it was a very difficult mix. He basically had to merge 3 projects to one and really aced the challenging mix and master like the true shaman he is. We hope you enjoy the song that brought us together again. May it give us more togetherness like Josh so wonderfully demonstrates everyday

Mr. Bringerer Togetherer-Eclectic Colllective

This is the first in a series of eight easy, acoustic, rather short and inconclusive tracks, which I’ve assembled by working on new and reworking on some old material adding parts and sounds. 
Will anything actually happen in the end? Unlikely. Definitely not here. Here it’s a montage of bare arpeggios in various keys.
I recorded this some weeks ago: sorry about the guitar sound, the string squeak is a bit too much; now, I hope to have fixed that investing in a better and more expensive set of strings.

In case nothing happens - part 1 (night)*

This tune began with just the upright bass (played on keyboard) & flute part (played with real flute), that were inspired by an old song that Mark liked a lot by an English Jazz trio called The Herbaliser.  Once he had it in progress, he asked me & Chris to see if we could contribute.

I added the trippy high pitch reverse guitar effect, and the bluesy lead guitar in the middle section (thus the title, Blue In The Middle). And Chris added some delightful atmospheric guitar and effects, as well as the Portishead influenced drum track. Mark was then inspired to add the background echo guitar sound in the middle section, and a bit of percussion and minor sound effects. 

Then Mark laid a really fine mix on it and I did the final mastering.  I'm glad Mark brought me in on this one, I really enjoy the ambience of it.
