With releases on imprints such as Kindisch, Manjumasi and Get Physical, Adisyn started conquering the electronic scene a few years back. His most recent release, Amorphous, has been released as part of Music For Balearic Peoples' Beirut fundraiser. 

With this mix, Adisyn wanted to create something that he would play if clubs and touring were still on schedule. He has been creating many things in the studio and has been struck by a real force of inspiration over the last couple of months.  Excited to share the new music with the world very soon, he already packed a first teaser in this mix: an upcoming gem with his friend Wassu!

We love what we hear and cannot wait for the new Adisyn music to be released this year!

Drumcode’s Layton Giordani has quickly carved out a reputation as one of the leading up and coming artists in global techno scene.  
 
Born in New York in 1992, he was playing at some New York’s best clubs including Cielo, Pacha and Space before he was 23, then landed himself a residency in at Brooklyn’s Output in 2015.

His break through release ‘Careless Suggestions’ on Sasha Carassi’s Phobiq Records catapulted his name into the limelight, with the track staying in the Beatport Techno Top 100 chart for over half a year!

Layton’s ‘Unspoken’ EP caught the ear of Adam Beyer in 2016 who released it on his Truesoul label in the summer. As their relationship developed, the young producer reached the pinnacle point of his career, earning a release on Adam’s globally-renowned Drumcode imprint with ‘Rivington’.  

Now with an album on Drumcode under his belt (Where It Begins – released in February) his career is continues to go from strength to strength and has seen him performing with the scene’s greats including Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Solomun, John Digweed, Len Faki, Alan Fitzpatrick and Monika Kruse to name a but a few.

Ich drehe das alte Radio auf volle Lautstärke und mein Fuß fängt an zu wippen. Schlagartig setzt das altbekannte Gefühl ein. Glückshormone durchströmen meinen Körper und mir kribbelt es im Bauch. Meine Gliedmaßen brechen aus ihren stumpfen gehirngesteuerten Schattendasein aus und erlangen Stück für Stück ihre Autonomie zurück. Aus dem Wippen des Fußes werden erste zaghafte Tanzschritte und mein schamgeleiteter Widerstand schwindet. Wenige Sekunden später sind meine Bewegungen bereits fließend und folgen einer erdachten Choreografie.
Mein spontaner Stimmungsausbruch gepaart mit der lauten Musik erregen schnell Aufmerksamkeit. Erste Menschen bleiben stehen und schauen interessiert zu. Bald darauf habe ich erste Mitstreiter auf der großen Wiese, welche uns als Tanzfläche dient. Die Musik zieht immer mehr Passanten des Parks an und nach und nach füllt sich die Wiese. In mir wächst das Gefühl, dass ich all diese Menschen mit meiner Freude angezogen habe und sie diese nun teilen. Eine unglaubliche Euphorie verbreitet sich in meinem Körper und der Geist des Aktionismus wächst in mir. Ich will diese Stimmung ausnutzen, um meiner Rolle als Botschafter der Musik gerecht zu werden. Flink wie eine Katze erklimme ich den nächstgelegenen Baum und bewege mich dort rhythmisch zur Musik weiter. Dort bleibe ich bis die Musik aus dem Radio verstummt und die Menge ein wenig ratlos zurück lässt. Ich ergreife das Wort und erkläre, dass man den Schöpfer dieser musikalischen Feinkost bald in der Nähe live erleben kann. Gemurmel macht sich unter den Leuten breit. Einige fangen an zu applaudieren. Nachdem ich Ort und Datum des nächsten ComRa Events mitgeteilt habe, erfahre ich viel Zustimmung. Viele der heutigen Tänzer wollen vorbeikommen und mit mir dort weiterfeiern.

A true artist in every sense of the word, Layton Giordani stands firmly as one of the most popular tastemakers of techno’s new school, with his pioneering musical vision serving as a contemporary voice for the younger generation. Spending years acquiring knowledge from musical greats, the 28 year old possesses a wealth of experience far beyond his years and has now undeniably earned his rank in the upper echelon of techno. With a repertoire that knows no bounds, the dexterous New Yorker has explored a new dimension of scope with each passing year, nurturing a monumental discography that echoes staunch dedication to his craft. Giordani’s palpable successes can be largely credited to his extensive stock of knowledge, garnered through an insatiable work ethic and years spent earning his keep in the industry. Solely focused on his passion for music from the age of just 13, Giordani’s path forever changed at 19 years old after watching Danny Tenaglia perform live at Pacha NYC. Deeply inspired by the formative experience, Layton began to master his craft behind the decks, landing a pivotal residency at Brooklyn’s Output NY that would consequently steam-roll his career into quick maturity. Thanks to the faith they instilled in him, Layton turned heads and began making a name for himself through his deft touch and sharp ear. Seeking further guidance from another of the long-standing greats, Giordani spent countless hours under the mentorship of Adam Beyer, honing his composition talents and studying the cardinal cuts of techno’s rich history. The affiliation resulted in Giordani’s first releases under the Swedish maven’s storied imprints; an EP titled Unspoken on Truesoul followed shortly by Rivington, his input to Drumcode’s celebrated A-Sides series. News of the untapped star’s fresh sensibilities circulated and in 2017, Giordani erupted onto the scene with his aptly-named debut album contribution to Drumcode in the form of Where It Begins. The 12-track LP served as the first seismic indication of his capabilities and subsequently received critical acclaim from artists, new fans and industry specialists alike.
