One thing I’ve learned about vinyl mixing is the importance of embracing imperfection. I feel satisfied with simply blending two records, especially when the transitions come together seamlessly. When I first started learning vinyl mixing, I would book time on the turntables at a record store in Taipei called 有種. It was there that I met many talented DJs and producers who inspired me. I spent countless hours practising, immersing myself in the craft. That’s how my DJ career began..

Now, every home session feels like a step forward. It’s not about perfection—it’s about progress!

Vinyl mixing has taught me patience, precision, and the beauty of the imperfect moments. I’d love to share a bit of my journey with you through my home practice. The transitions may not always be flawless, but every mix brings me closer to the art I love. 💞

OCCA has been organising ARCHIV for over 10 years at the sacred club,  Precious Hall in Sapporo, located in the northernmost region of Japan, Hokkaido. With his own party ARCHIV at the core, he has been expanding his scope of activities from all over Japan to the rest of the world.

As an entity of singularity, he aims to transform time/space/spirit into unknown realms by arranging multifaceted elements such as the spiritualism of Psychedelic Music, the storytelling nature of House Music, the sci-fi dystopian feel of Detroit Techno and the trance of Minimal Music in a three-dimensional way through his deft mixing. His rare presence has been recognised and he has been invited to play at DJ NOBU's Future Terror, Mindgames' The Labyrinth/Balance, and in recent years, has been invited to parties in Asia, Spekki Webu's Mirror Zone 5 Years Tour in EU, System Revival and Georgia's prestigious Bassiani, his circle of resonance continues to spread out.

[Les Chaos Ambiants]

The Pauza association presents Les Chaos Ambiants, a festival dedicated to the encounter between electronic music, the visual arts and the rich heritage of Burgundy-Franche-Comté.

This event is designed on a small scale to make it as comfortable as possible to listen, meet and move around, with a single stage to promote emerging and established artists, a natural setting conducive to the discovery of musical works and artistic installations, and an eco-responsible approach to limit its environmental impact.

The project has several objectives : to promote the European and international artistic scene, to stimulate and strengthen the cultural and creative network across the département and the region ; to help promote and showcase the natural and cultural heritage of Burgundy-Franche-Comté ; to support local produce and the local economy.

At some point, Sophie just bought two record players and a mixer with the tips from her job as a waitress. The turntables arrived broken, the tonearms both snapped off, so 50PHIE simply taught herself how to solder and repaired the whole thing herself. 
This DIY mentality didn't come from anywhere, as Sophie spent a lot of time at punk and hardcore concerts in her youth and has always preferred to simply make things herself instead of just consuming them. 
In her long-time adopted home of Leipzig, 50PHIE has also played a key role in shaping the local scene. Be it as an organizer, employee, DJ or, above all, as a raver. She is part of G-Edit and DRIVE and has also been involved in booking the Nachtiville Festival since the last editions. 50PHIE is musically versatile and always manages to pack her bag with the right selection from her digital and analog collection. 
Since moving to Hamburg, 50PHIE has been active in the record store remoto rec., which can only benefit the expansion of her already extensive record collection. 50PHIE is an incredibly versatile DJ who always manages to find the right sound for the right occasion. 
Her focus is on deep and dubby sounds, her sound is timeless rather than zeitgeisty. Nevertheless, she does not want to limit herself to one particular style or genre, there is far too much good music out there for that. 
50PHIE plays Gigs throughout Germany in renowned clubs and at festivals such as About Blank, Institut fuer Zukunft, Weltspiele, Kater Blau, Golden Pudel Club and the good2u Festival.

The kind of pairing we cherish at Delayed—Enrica Falqui and Claudio PRC, two esteemed artists from their shared homeland of Sardinia, joining forces on Swiss label Adam’s Bite. Lucid Dreams EP is the refined result of their collaboration. Available in digital and vinyl formats via Bandcamp from February 28th.

Receptor opens the B-side with a hypnotic, cinematic character, driven by a dynamic bass groove. It’s a love story between minimal, house, and techno, crafted with a distinct sense of identity. Balanced tension runs throughout, with stripped-down drums underpinning the track’s deep, tenacious energy.

You can hear both of their personalities woven into the sound with understated heat. From the very first bars, it brings you close and doesn’t let go.

Regulator, an Odesa native now based in Prague, blends deep emotion with precision in his sets. 
Raised in a family of classical musicians, he channels an eclectic influence from new wave, post-punk, and indie rock. 

He currently finding inspiration in dub techno.

This mix explores its expansive depths, where atmosphere and rhythm collide and this is what we like...
